We were using them for infusions that take a long time and it was important to get started early. Neither of the nurses could get an IV in me quickly. The two nurses that I have had since then have been able to do it. I liked that they were flexible. They were available for the time I needed.

Everything was poor across the board. I'm in healthcare, and I had very specific requirements of what I needed. The only reason I found out my requirements weren't being met was because my mother mentioned something casually. I followed up on it, and when I started asking her questions, I found out the details. They could have met the terms of the care I expected as outlined per the visit at home prior to the caregivers coming out.

The nurse was great. She was always there. She just came in while the one I had was leaving, and the one I had before trained her. The nursing part is outstanding. She was great and she would never ever miss, and if she did miss we would talk it out and rearrange the schedule so we would never miss a time.

I haven't been able to drive since the first of September. I have a lot of doctors' appointments, and I would be completely homebound if I didn't have the caregiver to drive me. They're a lifesaver. They're very responsive, caring, punctual, and dressed appropriately. Also, my caregiver is cheerful. She lifts me up when I'm feeling down.

I just have issues because some of them have called off, or they haven't been able to find someone to come. The quality of care though has been great.

BrightStar Care is a very flexible agency. We needed some support within a few days of when we contacted them, and they went out of their way to find a caregiver in short notice. The services from BrightStar Care have made life easier because I am able to call on a short notice and they will respond.

We didn't click at all with the staff and the management of Brightstar. My mom did not respond well with them. The people that they placed in my mom's house were like very medical personnel. They're showing up in uniforms and they made mom feel like she's some kind of a patient. It seemed like everytime we voiced our displeasure, we were met with resistance and like it was our fault. We are the customer and they are the company and we're giving them feedback and it turned out like we're the bad guy. So, we started looking for a new one and found a very good one.
