Slow to respond, no sense of urgency. Week went by after release from SAR, initial visit was evaluation so time lost in recovery. When I had complications with surgical incision no one available and no follow up. Doctor called in new orders and still waiting for scheduling. Should be called "anything but Care Tenders" Letter of all they had done for me made me LOL! Physical therapy is okay, but can't recommend nursing care as it's unreliable and unremarkable.

Our experience with Caretenders Louisville, KY has been good so far. The nurse we have is fine. They come to do an assessment check on my mom every week. The insurance covers the billing, so that's fine. We haven't had any negative comments about this agency so far.

The fact that there is NO schedule is perplexing....when will they show...how to schedule life around them is impossible...calling ahead and stating within an hour and it's over an hour and a half is HARD....not to mention they change the day of the week.....The one and only case worker was wonderful...though her hands were tied with actual Help....out of the at least 5 nurses that showed up 2 were caring, helpful, and seemed to care...1 physical therapist was awesome...and 1 nurse was what a nurse should be...then removed...then a phenomenale one who not only cared but helped...CLUE these people are counting on YOU!!!! How is it that a Nurse can show up and ignore necrosis and gangrene???????

Well it is Sunday right now. My father, 83 years old, was released from the hospital on Friday having complications from colon cancer and undergoing yet another surge that left his with 2 open wounds that need changed and dressed 3 times a day. Between myself, and other family members we have call 6 times since Friday and have yet to receive a call back. In the meantime my father sits at home having people change and dress his open wounds that have no idea what they are doing. We were assured prior to leaving the hospital that him being released prior to the weekend would not matter, that caretenders would be over Saturday, we can’t even get a return phone call. Absolutely the worst, most unprofessional organization I’ve dealt with in awhile.

I had total knee replacement in October of 2017. I chose Caretenders as my home health rehab provider. On the first visit, the nurse who evaluated me asked to get on the bed. She jumped all over the place putting my legs in all sorts of positions. In doing so, she knelt on the remote for my adjustable bed. The bed moved and then the remote would not work because the circuit board was damaged. I contacted Caretenders and they told me to send the bill in and they would pay for it ($47.88). I had to wait 6 days for a replacement to arrive in the mail and could not raise the foot of my bed during that time. I sent the receipt in with my therapist as I was told. When my therapy ended 6 weeks later I was told the bill was at Corporate and i would receive the payment shortly. I have called a couple times. I can never talk to Stacy who is suppose to be the office manager but last time (a few weeks ago) I talked to Roger and he was going to call me back. Needless to say, I've heard nothing. I am tired of getting the runaround - if they were not going to pay for it they just had to tell me instead of lying about it. Even though the therapist and nurses were very good, I would not use Caretenders again because of this issue. I have NEVER received any correspondence from them on this matter - I've always had to call them and then was never given an honest answer.

Extremely disappointed with the Caretenders and the assistance they have given my Father after a fall. My parents are both up in age and each have their own health issues. I have had to step in and follow up behind Care tenders due to poor ifollow up regarding physical and occupational therapy.. The only one that seems to be consistent is the woman who baths my Father.. My parents do not want to rate Care tenders but I believe Caretenders needs to be aware as they are dealing with peoples love one. I know they are short but this wrong.

Caretenders is doing a fine job. The RN comes and checks on all of my wife's vitals. She also had physical therapy for a short period of time, and I don't think the therapist was top notch, but she did what she was supposed to do. The RN is very knowledgeable, but the therapist was a little impatient. They did what they were asked to do.

Over the last three years we have had Caretenders to provide care for my husband. They have been excellent in their professionalism and care. The employees almost became like family. Would highly recomment them to anyone (and have)

The caregivers of Caretenders are really doing a good job for taking care of my wife. What they do is occupation and physical therapy. They also come in a couple of days to help her bathe. We've been using them for three weeks now. I would recommend them to others.

We got to know Caretenders through word of mouth and everybody seemed to enjoy them. We haven't had any problems. We've been using them on and off for eight months. We liked the personnel that they sent out, the nurse, the therapist, the OT, the PT, and the ones that come and clean here in the morning. They're all very nice and very informative. They gave us information that we need on the cheapest and best supplies. They are a good match for my sister. Caretenders is a very good, efficient and caring agency.
