We started with Care by April about May 2021. After using a couple other home care services that were unsatisfactory and dishonest. Care by April was totally different. They were honest, caring, passionate and willing to be flexible and customize their services to try to meet our needs. Tina was our main caregiver while my sister-in-law was in assisted living and when the time came to move to the skilled care side of the building, Tina was willing to stay on as a companion. Tina is so friendly and caring and always cheerful. When the opportunity opened to move to a nursing facility in our hometown in 2024, we knew it was the best decision to make. Tina has been greatly missed. But to our delight, Tina makes an effort to come the hour and a half up here to visit every so often. THIS is what makes Tina and Care by April head and shoulders above the rest. They are the best!!

I used Care by April for transportation to a surgery center that had a strict policy regarding releasing a patient but found April's business was acceptable. Kat drove me to that appointment and several other post op appointments that I was sick to drive to. Kat is fabulous with her calming effect, easy conversations, humor and punctuality. Kat is a person anyone would like to be around and grab a coffee with.

Tina & the rest of the crew that has helped with Grandma (whom is 95) are so caring, passionate and have a Great way of dealing with elderly that have dementia, they are so patient with Gramms and get her to participate a bit more than she normal ! We LOVE Tina and her big Heart ❤️ I would pick them to care for anyone else, they also took care of my dad before he passed ❤️

I would definitely recommend Care By April. When my mom passed away my dad who was 97 was living at home alone so we contacted April to use her services. April and her group are amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them. They came in the morning and evening to fix his meals, help him get dressed, do laundry, straighten the house, run to the store and just about anything else that needed to be done. My dad especially loved when April came. As soon as she walked in the door he would tell her “you just made my day”. April and her group were very kind to my dad. He was very lonely after my mom passed so April would always take the time to sit down and try to cheer him up. Iam very grateful to April’s group for taking such good care of my dad.

Care by April has provided the emotional, physical assistance and friendship/companionship that allows our mother to remain in her home of over 50 years. Thank you, in particular to Tina for being there for mom! She cherishes you and we do too! Care by April is flexible when a glitch in life arises! Solid, reliable, personal care! Thank you!

We're trying Care by April out for my parents. They're coming for an hour in the morning five days a week. They fix breakfast, clean up breakfast, and help my mom if she needs help getting dressed. This is the first week we did it, and it was the owner who came out. They're great right now, and they're doing everything they possibly can.

I've been using Care by April. They provide cleaning, feeding, dressing, and help with using the bathroom. I'm extremely comfortable with my caregivers and they have a helpful attitude and demeanors. The owner, April, seemed genuine, and I like to work with genuine people. I have no complaints and everything is good. I'm very satisfied.

It's impossible for me to tell you just how wonderful April and her staff are. I recently underwent surgery and required care around the clock. Being single and independant, I dreaded needing someone to be with me every minute of the day. April met with me personally and was SO compassionate, organized and kind. She relieved all my concerns with her caring demeanor. Everyone on her staff that helped me were wonderful. Care by April is so much more than caregivers. They genuinely care. I not only received excellent care but I looked forward to their visits and companionship. I would highly recommend April for any one that needs help of any kind. The entire staff is kind, professional, dependable and go the extra mile.

April and her staff were absolutely amazing. They treated my father like their own without ever crossing the line. These people are true professionals. They are wise, intuitive and were able to anticipate my dad's needs sometimes before he even knew what they were. When someone you love is declining, you are sad, helpless and just don't know what to do. April and her staff even helped us, the family members, with our fears too. They made us feel good about the things we were able to do for my dad, and they directed us in a very compassionate way when we were not doing the right things. One of the very special things that April and her staff did was attend my dads funeral. They also follow up with my mom to make sure she is doing well.

April truely does care about her clients with the compassion of a daughter for a parent or child. She is always dependable for any occasion or situation. She is simply someone you can count on to be there for you. Always.
