I have been here since August 2014. I have my own one-bedroom apartment, and I get my three meals a day. Everything is 200% better than the other facility where I was before. They do give medicine, and they have a nurse on board. The staff is very caring and always anxious to do whatever you ask them to do. I'm a diabetic, so they do test my blood sugar and give me my insulin. The facility is all one big building, but it is divided into one-bedroom apartments, and it has everything you would ever need. Two-bedrooms have the washers and dryers, but the one-bedroom don't. They do have laundry rooms or they'll do your laundry. As for activities, there is something going on all the time. I really don't play cards and I don't like bingo, but that's what they mostly do. However, they have some games that I participated in, and they were kind of fun. They have cards and every kind of bingo you can think of. The other place that I was in for a couple of months, the food was horrible. Here, it is much, much better, although they have a little trouble keeping vegetables warm.

I toured LakeHouse Menomonee. What stood out was I thought it was a very clean, nice place. I liked the amenities. I liked the apartments. I liked that they had a place for haircutting and pedicures right onsite. It sounded like they had a lot of activities, which I liked. So far, everything was good with that, and I didn't like that they had in-house people working for them. It wasn't an agency. They have a nurse during the day, but they don't have a nurse onsite overnight.

We looked at the independent living of LakeHouse Menomonee. We saw some of the residents and met with some of the staff and had nice things to see. We did not try their food, but we walked past their dining room. Everything looked very good. The staff was very friendly and open. I think they had a nice rapport with the residents there too.

The apartments at LakeHouse Menomonee are pretty good size. I talked to a couple of the residents there and they seemed happy. The staff was excellent. It just needs new carpeting in the hallways, but even though it's older, it's clean. It feels very comfortable to be in there, saying hello to various staff. I spoke at length to one of the residents, and she was quite nice to talk to. I think it was a friendly area.

LakeHouse Menomonee was very nice and very clean. The people there seemed reasonably nice. What I liked least was they made it sound like we were going to be able to afford it for my mother, but once we got there, we found out every single thing has a charge and it's a daily charge, so the amount of money we thought we could have put in to be able to have her there was far more once we sat down and talked about it. It wasn't a good fit for us. There's no way in the whole world we could afford it. The staff was OK. It's well done. I think a person would be happy there if they could afford it. The atmosphere seemed peaceful. The rooms were nice sized. The courtyard was nice.

This facility is ok if you can live on your own, with NO assistance needed. Several residents had to move out recently due to lack of staffing and assistance. They hire from temporary agencies. They haven’t had a nurse in-house for over a year, so much staff turn-over. Please do yourself a favor, look elsewhere… Moved my loved one out, there are so many better options.

LakeHouse Menomonee seemed OK. No concerns that jumped out to me. Overall, they have a solid staff. There's no immediate concern. They showed me a basic room. It was clean with a standard layout. Nothing too fancy. It was pretty standard for an assisted living place. It was a one-bedroom. They have a senior community room. They have a coordinator at the time.

LakeHouse Menomonee was nice. When we walked through, they greeted us and welcomed us in. They showed us apartments and the sizes were OK. They had 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, and they had handicap-accessible bathrooms, which was what we were looking for. They had an exercise room, a nice courtyard, and outdoor walking areas. Everything was included in the price except for the telephone. They had a nice dining area with their own personal chef.

LakeHouse Menomonee was a beautiful place and it was well-kept. One lady and one man gave me the tour and both of them were nice. They were very thorough, very convincing, and very informative. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The dining area was accommodating and nice. The surroundings looked pleasant. They said they had an activity director, and I saw some residents playing cards and some talking to each other.

My mom will be moving into LakeHouse Menomonee. We were very pleased with the administration. We liked the room size and the cleanliness of the building. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were spacious. They have daily activities, and occasionally they will take them off site, like to a baseball game or a movie. The living atmosphere was very nice. We met a few residents, and each one of them said hi or carried on a short little conversation with us as we did our tour. I can see where there could be some exterior things that could be upgraded a little bit, but nothing horrible.

I went here yesterday. The gentleman that showed me through the building and gave me the information was excellent, very pleasant, and very thorough. I found the building clean. I'm very impressed with the attitude of the people. When the time comes that I may need something, it definitely will be at the top of my list. I saw two rooms in the building, they're very good, very nice, spacious and clean. I'm very interested in playing cards. He said they do a lot of card playing. They do crafts. They have a bus that takes you places.

It was very good, very clean, and very appealing. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the services. They have a beauty salon, a game room, a nice patio area, a large dining room, and a sitting room/TV room. They have several activities every day and there's a large calendar posted in the hall. They have a courtyard, but it's an enclosed courtyard. The apartment was very nice. It had a kitchen, a small dining table, a living room, and a bedroom. I like this place very much.

I've gone to see them. What I love about them is they were very proactive and very personable. They really understood the situation that I'm in and how important it is to have senior care. My connection to the staff was great. We toured the assisted living part of it. This was my very first tour, so I didn't really know what to expect. It was more of a conversation, and it's such an amazing conversation with such great information. The facility seemed great. It seems very accessible and easy for somebody like my mom to get around. For amenities, I saw that they had a salon.

It was a nice and clean place. The people there were also nice and friendly. The apartments were big. They got all kinds of activities and that's one of the reasons we picked it for my sister. The place was well taken care of and they had nice meal selections. They were outstanding.

I took a tour for my husband. I was very pleased with them. I would have loved to have been able to put my husband in there, but they turned him down. They had a dining room, and they had nursing care. They didn't have enough nursing care for him. I was very impressed with them. They were friendly, and the people that were there seemed happy. I didn't meet anybody other than the lady taking me around, and she was terrific. The place seemed clean.

We visited here. It seems like they have a younger group of people and more activities. It's a very well-decorated facility, and they had very nice staff. The apartments were nice. It's just very welcoming. They've got very knowledgeable staff and very friendly people there. The residents were very friendly.

It was a two-story building. The staff was very nice and very informative. The dining area was smaller than the other place, but it had white tablecloths. People were walking around and the guides seemed to know their names. There was an exercise class in progress when we were there. There was a library, a computer room, and an exercise room. The place was clean and the beds were all made.

It was a very nice, updated, clean place. They were grilling hotdogs and hamburgers when I was there. The staff was very friendly, and the residents were nice. However, it is just assisted living. If my mother started getting memory loss or needed more help, she couldn’t stay there. They had lots of activities, like cards, crafts, and planned trips on a bus.
