We're here at Fairwinds - Brittany Park. They're very attractive and very accommodating. The apartment is compact. The facility is clean. They have the normal things that facilities like this would have to offer as far as games and outside entertainment. The staff is very helpful and very pleasant. The dining area is very nice. The food is excellent with many choices. If you don't like what's being offered, there are alternatives.

Fairwinds - Brittany Park had a lot of programs. It's a nice place and I liked it. My only objection was that they didn't have extra storage. The staff treated me extremely well. The facility was very pleasant.

Fairwinds - Brittany Park was large and spacious with over 200 units. They had a lot of open areas and rooms to do things in and a huge exercise room. It's a really nice place with a lot of amenities and a lot of different things going on. If a person wants larger and more amenities, that would be a good choice. They had outside courtyards and outside tables. The staff was great, very happy, and pleasant. The place has been around for 20 years and there's a lot of people that have been there the whole 20 years. They had a lot of staff because it's a big place. There was no shortage of staff. The room I saw was nice and decently sized with a walk-in closet but about a third the size of what the other place I saw offered.

Britanny Park was probably our second choice. It was an older facility; however, the people there were very cordial. The landscaping is excellent, the rooms were fine, and we felt comfortable there. It is a very nice place, and we were very pleased with it.

My mother has now moved in to Fairwinds - Brittany Park. From the time we stepped in all the people were nothing but kind, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable; to make my mom feel comfortable. I can't say enough about the care of the staff there. They offer a lot of amenities depending on how involved the resident would like to be. She has been there for about a week now. There's assisted living if she needs it, but most of the people there are still fairly independent.

Brittany Park was bright and sunny. It seemed clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. I did see some residents playing cards, but other than that, I don't know what they do.

Fairwinds is very lovely. It is a beautiful place. At the time when we were there, we visited an elderly friend. At this point, he's been there probably for four years, and he is in his 90's. Right now because it does not have nursing care, the daughter and daughter-in-law are looking into another move for him. He needs to have 24 hour nursing service which seems to be more expensive. But the place is beautiful, the meals are lovely, and the people are very friendly. I have nothing but praise for it, but it is maybe a little more expensive than what my husband and I can afford. The rooms are fine. It is roomier than many places we have visited. It has nice views out the window, and it has a little bit of a deck from his place. My friend had two rooms even though he is alone. He is a weaver, and they arranged for him to have his loom in there to do his weaving. They were extremely attentive to his needs. They have a good walking trail right nearby which he used even after he was on an electric wheelchair. Every once and a while, there will be a trip somewhere.

I liked Fairwinds very much. It had a very nice atmosphere. They had somebody playing the piano as we walked in. I saw a unit, and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, and they seemed very capable. I would recommend it.

It is outstanding for a retirement home. If I ever need to retire, this is where I am going. The food was outstanding. In fact, they had like a luncheon bar where other people from the community would go and have lunch because it is good. Their rooms were very nice and comfortable like a nice home. The food was good, the dining facilities were very excellent as well, and the nice thing about it is that it's a five minute walk from our house. This is where I would like to have mom when she is ready to go into a home. They have all kinds of activities at Fairwinds - Brittany Park. My wife had a one-woman art show there. It was extra for us to pay, but we went with some of the seniors on the bus to go out and see the navy ships come in for what we call Seafair, and I was extremely impressed with the staff. Some of the people can handle themselves. Others, the staff knew they had to really watch them, and they did a great job. It wasn't like they were hovering or being a pain; they were taking care of them. What I really like about Brittany Park is that most of the staff has been there almost since it opened twenty years ago and they truly like their people. They genuinely mean "Good morning." They genuinely mean, "How are you doing?" They genuinely are interested in the person, like if they have a hobby and they are doing something. The physical therapist is on-staff. Brittany Park is just outstanding. They are absolutely worth recommending. The only reason I don’t think mom would stay there is that the trauma of the move would not be good for her although she and my wife are actually very best friends, and I know she would enjoy being close to my wife.

I’ve been to Fairwinds - Brittany Park for a couple of luncheons, and I went for a special lecture. The food was good; I think we had chicken salad. The staff was very cordial, cooperative, and helpful. They have an activity schedule that looks like they have quite a few. They have a bridge group that plays bridge, and that caught my attention. I’m pretty sure they have a pool that had warm water. It had a nice setting. I think they do have a bus that takes people around.

Through the many times I have visited both assisted living communities I have been extremely impressed with everything I have seen. As soon as you walk in there is a friendly atmosphere with both staff and residents milling about talking to each other and relaxing. The staff I know from Brittany Park are all extremely friendly and personable and have seen both miracles revives by staff of residents and fire threats when I have visited. The staff are always very helpful and professional. I have always been impressed by the games I see at these homes too. It's amazing to watch a group of older folk playing games and really enjoying themselves, it's uplifting. The food has always been pretty good as well! It seems like they have some professional chefs working back there that can always cater to the needs of the older generation. I've have been nothing but amazed at the kindness shown at these homes and even though I'm young, already look forward to having the opportunity to enjoy a place like that.

I visited Brittany Park with my Mother last week. I found that the facility had excellent amenities and services. The sales personel were exceedingly friendly and helpful. I plan to make a deposit on a third floor apartment next week and hopefully move her in by mid-July. I would highly recommend this community.
