"I visited the North Creek by Bonaventure's assisted living. I don't know much about the community yet but I know what I want in an apartment, and it's the only place I've found that has everything. I wanted a washer and dryer in the unit, a full kitchen, air conditioning, and a place I could get outside with my dog. I've been to several other facilities, and theirs is the best for me. It's also not a big place. The lady there who helped me was great."

"Ascent Adult Family Home LLC was clean. They had a locked closet that you had to have a code to get into for the medications. The lady showed me around and she was just very nice and friendly. They were going to be getting the room ready (it wasn't ready yet) for my sister. They have to do an assessment first, so she would work with me on my sister. It's a home. From the second floor, getting to the yard in the back would be difficult for the people, but they've got a deck in the summer where people can go out onto and they have two of them. One had raised beds around the whole perimeter so that people could do gardening in it. It was comfortable-looking and it just seemed very nice. The lady I met was the owner. She lived downstairs. She was very personable and caring. They just didn't have a lot of parking, because it's in a neighborhood. So, their parking was not very good to go and visit."

"Placing my mother in Edmonds Villa was the best decision we could have made. Her medical needs are complex, and the staff here is exceptionally trained and compassionate. Sandra the owner is really involved in mom's care."

"My husband will be moving into Aegis of Lynnwood. During my visit I considered the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the amount of activities that they have for the patients. We can see the staff interact with the patients who were already there; everybody knows the names, and just walking down the hall, they're greeted by name. Very friendly. It's all very well organized. A lot of how we felt came from how we interacted with the management."

"When I took my mother to look at Grandview Village in Marysville, I had already look at a few other places. I really liked Grandview Village, it was small so she would get lost in a crowd. We looked at a couple of studio apts. and chose the layout we liked best. I decorated it so it didn't look like a bedroom in the living room area in a cottage theme. Since then her apt. has become one of the show apts. The staff is great, I can't say enough about them. My mother has had some challenging issues with her health and they have all been so good in helping us with them. I don't think I would have gotten through some of them without their help and support. Before Covid-19 activities, Teresa the director had activities every day and would take them shopping. I would come in once a month to do a crafting activity for whoever wants to come. They also had music on Saturday and the staff would join in on the dancing. There is always something going on for holidays even now with the Covid. The staff would dress up in a theme and parade through the halls. It is truly a fun place. If you are looking for a good caring assisted living facility Grandview Village in Marysville is the place to start. I give them an A++++."

"Staff are wonderful and make you feel at home and cared for. There are always activities planned and have a large turn out of residents at each activity. Food is good and the place is odor free and clean. It would be nice if they would redecorate the interior, as it does not do Riverside East justice. It's a little out dated and as I look back, was almost why we didnt choose to move here, but happy we did!"

"We love the expert personalized care and superior service that the caregivers and nursing staff give my husband with his Parkinson's Disease and dementia. The atmosphere of a home, nutritional meals, fun activities and loving care make it so special!"

"The people here at Scriber Gardens are nice. I like all of them. They are wonderful. They have a gym here for whatever needs you have, as far as working out, and then they have all kinds of games, such as bingo and crosswords. The food is good, and the chef does all kinds of things, trying to get people to like his food, but it's just not necessarily my style. I'm more of a home-cooking type of person, and he doesn't necessarily do those kinds of foods. It's just his style. There's nothing wrong with it. The refrigerators are terrible. They could get new ones. They don't have anything for cooking at all. They only have a microwave. They should have at least some cooking areas. I have a dog and so wherever I went, my dog had to be comfortable, too. What I found here is I have a room with a door that goes outside so I can take my dog directly outside. I don't have to go down the hall to get him to do his business. That was the reason why I'm here."

"My mom moved to the assisted living facility of Kenmore Senior Living. They had the different things that we were looking for. It was in the right area, and the price was always too high, but they just had the things that we were looking for my mom. The people who work there are nice, and there are lots of nice people who actually live there, too. It's clean, has lots of light with windows everywhere, and they have a big courtyard and a backyard that people can use. My mom says the food is generally really good, too. It seems like she's getting the care that she needs, and she seems to be adjusting and is happy there. The staff members are nice, attentive, and seem to know what they're doing. They have stuff going on all day long, and they put out a sheet for that every day. They have word games, and they have things going every morning, afternoon, and evening. I just don't pay that much attention to them because I don't participate in them, and my mom doesn't do a lot of them either. I can understand the medical part, because that's an add-on, but the actual amount of money that they charge for my mom staying in a studio is excessively expensive, to me. It's over a thousand dollars more than it should be per month."

"Mountlake Terrace Plaza was excellent. The manager was good. They were very hospitable and they were excellent. They tried to help us, but unfortunately, my parents were not qualified there. The facility was very good. I liked it very much. The nice thing was they had a yard with gardens. It was very clean and fresh. The manager was very nice and kind and was trying to give resources to us, even when she was busy. I just walked in. I did not have an appointment and she accepted me. I went there and talked to her."

"I went to Cogir of Edmonds Assisted Living & Memory Care. The facility was very nice. We didn't partake in the food, but it smelled fantastic. We saw the menus they have for their everyday meals, and they all had special meals if you needed them. I'm diabetic, so she said, "Oh, well, we can accommodate you. Sure. All you have to do when you come in is tell us what you want and you've got it." The staff was terrific. They were all friendly and they showed us around. They kept asking us questions about what I needed. They said they can accommodate me. It was just wonderful. I love the facility."

"I felt like Madison House was nice and I know that they remodeled in 2018, but it still seemed old to me. They were extremely expensive. They started way over my budget so I can't look any further on this one because I said, "Well, $3000 to $3200 to start with and right off the bat before any fees.", but that one was $3800 so I'm out. The people giving me the tour knew who their people were when they walked by. They called them by name. I got a very good feeling at all the places I visited, but Madison house was kind of out because again it was just on the older range as well and it was just too expensive, but that was the only one that was a true assisted living. The lady that was showing me around was absolutely lovely."

"My dad lives at this community and has been there for about a year. The staff has been very patient with him and it shows how much they care for him. The nurses and aids are very responsive and my dad has great connections with some other residenys even though he is in a difficult stage of his dementia. I trust this place to be the best in the area. I also see constant improvements and feel that they are constantly trying to up their game. "
