The layout of the apartments was great, and the space was good. They have a library, a theater, movies, bingo, and a community garden."

"I felt like Madison House was nice and I know that they remodeled in 2018, but it still seemed old to me. They were extremely expensive. They started way over my budget so I can't look any further on this one because I said, "Well, $3000 to $3200 to start with and right off the bat before any fees.", but that one was $3800 so I'm out. The people giving me the tour knew who their people were when they walked by. They called them by name. I got a very good feeling at all the places I visited, but Madison house was kind of out because again it was just on the older range as well and it was just too expensive, but that was the only one that was a true assisted living. The lady that was showing me around was absolutely lovely."

"I have a friend who's sister and brother in law live here. There are not a lot of facilities where there are couples but when I visited with my friend it seems that there are a lot of couples. My friends family had moved the couple from a place to another and they settled in this place because they have a full memory care and could care for the wife. It is a very nice place. Her husband is also well taken care of as he needs some care but there are many people who don't need care or have alzheimers and seem very happy. The staff was great in turning a situation around with my friends sister."

"I would love to be here. The people felt really at home. They had an elevator, and it's secure. Everything was right there. You don't have to worry about taking out your garbage. There were places in the hallway where you open the door and put them down the chute. You could buy stuff from the vending machines. It was too new to improve on anything -- maybe the food. "

"I am a resident at Kenmore Senior Living. I've lived here with my husband for nine years. I'm the ambassador here. It really is a very friendly community. The people all get along. The staff is very supportive. It's just nice place to live. We have a girl who has been the activity director for the last 20 years, and she is absolutely amazing. She's the top of anything we've ever had. Not only does she have just the regular things that we're doing it like bingo, word within a word, which is a word game, but she has educational things on TV for us. She just has a well-rounded program. Not only that they make meals all the time for us, but like when we have Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fourth of July, the staff prints a printout that is conducive to whatever holiday it is. Also the menu for Father's Day, it is more of a meal for them, and for Mother's Day, it is more of a lighter meal for them. The room is large, nice size room. They have a library here that also part time library and part time theater. We have a traveling library that comes in, too. The lady in marketing does an absolutely amazing job bringing people in. She is such a kind, thorough, fantastic person. I can't say enough about her. She's so good. They really take good care of our needs."

"My dad will be moving into Peters Creek Retirement, Assisted Living & Memory Care. I worked with the sales and marketing director, and she was very nice and helpful. It's not a fancy place, but it's very clean. All the people I met were very friendly. It has a calm and cheerful atmosphere. The room that my dad is going to is large and has a nice little kitchen."

"Aegis of Marymoor is a very nice facility and they take good care of my brother. We've been very pleased. We don't have any complaints so far. The food is pretty good. There are a lot of activities that people can get involved in. They have outings and a whole program going on. He is pretty out of it, so there are limited activities that he can do, but the people seemed pretty happy. They do a good job. The staff has been great, they're always right there, they check on him frequently, and they're very interactive. They have a good chef there. The facilities are beautiful. It's like a mini lodge and I really like it. It has a very warm and inviting feeling. The price is right in there with everybody else, and it all depends on how much care he is given."

"the leadership is solid. It appears as if they are focused on maintaining high standards with the facility and Fed/state requirements. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring. Everyone I've met is committed to delivering quality customer care. The one issue my mom complains the most about is the food. Two things, not enough protein and such very bland taste. Aegis might want to put some low sodium seasoning on the table. Also, the blinds covering the sliders of the first floor residents are cheap. Currently, my mom has approximately 8 vinal pannels that are missing. I don't have a solution for the facility but fully intend to incur the expense to put up nicer blinds. "

"Ascent Adult Family Home LLC was clean. They had a locked closet that you had to have a code to get into for the medications. The lady showed me around and she was just very nice and friendly. They were going to be getting the room ready (it wasn't ready yet) for my sister. They have to do an assessment first, so she would work with me on my sister. It's a home. From the second floor, getting to the yard in the back would be difficult for the people, but they've got a deck in the summer where people can go out onto and they have two of them. One had raised beds around the whole perimeter so that people could do gardening in it. It was comfortable-looking and it just seemed very nice. The lady I met was the owner. She lived downstairs. She was very personable and caring. They just didn't have a lot of parking, because it's in a neighborhood. So, their parking was not very good to go and visit."

"Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls was an older building, but it was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have a meal there. We were able to order from the menu, and the food was excellent. They had a little exercise room and a library."

"We toured Grandview Village. We really liked the staff, and we liked that everything was on one level. They went the extra mile to show us some apartments. My mom really liked it there. You need to bring furniture, but all the appliances were there. You have to bring your own microwave though. There was a stove and a refrigerator, and the stove had an oven. The facility looked good. The one thing that we didn't like is that there wasn't air-conditioning, and it was hot. The person who took us around was very friendly. I like that she spoke directly to my mom rather than me. I think that really helped us. As for outdoor space, there was a courtyard with a waterfall, so that was very nice."

"I thought Gencare was inviting. They had a little garden, and I thought that it could have been a little more accessible. They had a decent dining room. I liked that it felt like everything was on one floor, although it wasn't. I felt like it was somewhat like a home. The staff was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. When I wanted to see a different type of room than they had available, the manager asked a resident if it was okay if we looked at her room, and she just gave this glowing review of the place and the staff there. It made you feel more open to it because someone who lived there was so excited about living there. They said they offered trips out into the world. However, I thought they needed more activities to bring life to the place. "
