Arbor Rose Adult Family Homes are located across the street from each other in a comfortable, safe, and friendly Tacoma neighborhood. Our two adult family homes provide, 24-hour, long-term care for up to six residents in each home. Licensed since 2002, we designed these homes specifically to meet the needs of the elderly we serve. From the outside, the homes look like any other house in the neighborhood. We have patios, ramps and fenced yards with lots of landscaping. The inside of the homes are decorated to enhance the resident feeling of a" home environment" with special features to promote comfort, convenience, and safety. Housing Special Features: Accessible Arbor Rose Gardens and large outdoor patios Private furnished bedrooms (or your furniture is welcome) with individualized dcor Adaptive bathroom and shower equipment with wheelchair and walker accessibility Homestyle dining area with adaptive equipment to be used as needed Large common rooms for family and group activities Call-lights, Cable TV, and telephone hookups are available in each room Specialized therapy equipment and furniture is available for special needs Medication management, personal toileting supplies, dietary planning, laundry, and housekeeping are all included in our daily rates. These services are provided at minimal or no cost to our clients and include: Pharmacy Delivery All prescribed medications and general supplies are delivered to our home. Specialized Palliative and Hospice Care planning, training, with necessary resources available.
