Harbour Pointe Senior Living is typical of the larger senior living facilities. The rooms and common facilities are suitable and well maintained. Food quality is about average. Staffing could use some improvement. They do contract with a therapy organization I consider to be substandard because they refuse to follow a consistent schedule and continually switch providers. I also encountered supply issues with their contracted pharmacy. These issues could be addressed by changing providers. I found their charges to be standard for large facilities, but excessive for our situation.

The quality of this facility has declined to unacceptable. The Executive Director does not respond to email or phone messages. The same is true with the Director of Nursing. So glad I have moved my father

We picked Harbour Pointe Senior Living for our mother. A big bonus was the room had a little balcony on it, so you could open the sliding glass door and go outside and have a little chair and table out there. It had all the amenities we wanted. Her physical therapist had actually said that was one of the nicest places around, so that was one of the reasons why she was going to it. She had a recommendation from her physical therapist. You could walk up a flight of stairs, which was kind of overlooking the ground floor where the fireplace was and the dining hall was, and that looked nice even with social distancing and tables spread out. The unit had a full stove in it rather than just a microwave. She still likes to bake a little bit. The staff there was friendly. The square footage of the unit was a little bit bigger than some of the other places I had seen. They had public areas for crafts, and it also had a gym, so she could go in there and work on things when the physical therapist wasn't around. They had everything she'd want to do. They had a big conference room where they had group discussions on history and current events. I don't think it had any negatives at all.

I have nothing but good things to say about Harbour Pointe! Harbour Pointe is by far one of the most beautiful communities I have been too! I visit on occasion and every time I enter the community, I am greeted with a smile and feel immediately welcomed. Over the past couple of months, there has been significant improvements throughout the community. The residents are happy and after speaking with a few other family members, we are pleased with the recent changes! The Executive Director is present and attentive to the community’s needs. The staff are friendly and are there to care for the resident’s need. What has impressed me was the way management involves families and loved ones together in the community. I highly recommend Harbour Pointe to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean and friendly community for their loved one! Thank you Harbour Pointe and staff for your tireless work and creating an amazing environment for staff and residents to enjoy!
