I liked the friendliness of the staff and the meal options at Mountain Glen Retirement Community. My father-in-law will be moving in there and the room that we chose was a larger studio with a good-sized bathroom. He has a wheelchair, so it will accommodate his needs. They have a couple of larger gathering spaces, a little theater room, and an activity space, too.

My wife stayed in Mountain Glen Retirement Community. I liked it, it's well kept, and the food is excellent. They did the best they could. They have all kinds of activities, there's always something new every day. They have bingo, dominoes, cards, and sing-alongs. They have a library, and a pool table and they have ice cream socials once a week. The value is reasonable.

I toured Mountain Glen Retirement Community. They have all three levels of care, they are pet friendly, and they have good-sized rooms. All the staff were great. There were no problems whatsoever with any staff anywhere. We had a couple of meals there, and they were okay. Activities were the same average activities that everybody has everywhere else. That wasn't one of our biggest concerns, so I didn't pay a lot of attention to that. But they have a whole list of activities. As far as I know, it's our favorite one. It is a large community. It's like three stories high and probably has 80 units.

I visited Mountain Glen Retirement Community. I liked everything about it, but there was not much ground around it to walk on. Inside the building, every bathroom had regular commodes; they were not for handicapped people. They put up some hand rails, but they were behind the toilet. The staff was overly eager to help, or maybe sell, and they were absolutely friendly. I'm told by everybody I talked to that the food is outstanding. It was cheerful, well-laid out, comfortable, and there were elevators in more than one place that were big enough for a power chair to go in.

Our Mom has lived in Mt Glen Assisted living for 6 months and will now be there on hospice care. She loves the food, the gardens, the frequent music activities, the weekly ice cream socials and her room. He only complaint is that it is fancies than she has been used to in her life. She has received excellent care from the aids and nursing staff and have zero complaints about her care. We have worked well with the administrative and billing staff and noted that even the servers in the dining room always remembered food she liked, that she wanted no ice in her cool drinks and the she loves coco on cool days. We have been very happy with the entire facility and they are well rated by the state licensing teams, having had a perfect survey this year. They deserve five stars!

This place is not what it seems on the surface. Although the facility looks fairly nice, it is severely lacking in what seniors need like good nutritious meals with fresh foods, mental and physical activities, convenient transportation, and wholesome living. Dogs and cats are starting to out-number the residents.

The general appearance of Mountain Glen Retirement Center was nice. It seemed very clean and very attractive, and the people seemed very friendly. There was no odor, and the residents that I know seemed very happy there. They had a nice, big piano, which was lovely. Their dining area looked very inviting. It was a very nice place, very attractive, and very pleasant. It is a nice place to be when I can't be at home.

The staff at Mountain Glen Retirement was very good. But I didn't like it much because it does not smell very good.
