When I walked into Harbor Tower on a tour with my mother, I was greeting by all the staff members at the door. Being able to meet everyone right away felt really friendly and welcoming! We moved my mom in, and she has made good friends and is really happy!

We liked Harbor Tower Village. It's expensive though. If we could figure out financing, we probably would go that route. The tour was very well presented. The reason we liked it is that it is set up in a way that it would be very doable for my folks. They have a lot of amenities there, also activities that would work for them, and it felt friendly. The rooms were set up OK, but they were a little small. We saw the two-bedroom and the one-bedroom. We're looking at a place for a couple, so it was a little tight, but I don't think it would be tight enough to say no to. They had Bible study, TV time, and planned outings, and it's close to medical facilities that we might need to do, and they had shuttles to and from medical facilities. There were some church activities going on and they had a movie room. It felt like there was enough to keep them busy. There was an outdoor space with gardening and a fish pond. They really had a good vibe. The staff was great. They were very friendly. They talked to the other residents very well.

We're in the process of moving our mother into Harbor Tower Village. We chose it because it was probably a little bit cheaper. The facility seemed very nice and very clean, and the rooms seemed adequate in size. It was a very nicely laid out central courtyard. It's a circle, so no one can get lost. The rooms were laid out nice. The dining area was very nice and had huge windows, so you could see outside. It was not a closed in feeling. The living atmosphere was very good. The staff seemed very pleasant.

Harbor Tower Village is actually recommended locally by word of mouth. They are fairly well involved in the local community and they offer transportation to neighboring communities. I found this place for my cousin. They have a large kind of living room with vaulted ceiling that's also connected to the dining room. I think it's a tall ceiling, and the light, all the windows and stuff make it look quite appealing. Basically, his room is like an efficiency apartment with a kitchenette. Food is prepared nicely and it looks attractive. It's a friendly environment, they sponsor activities daily, and they try to engage residents in community events or affairs.
