I'm in South Pointe. They have cottages that are totally independent except for meals and cleaning outside as well as the facility. Some people do very well, others not so well. The food is excellent, most of the staff members are very sweet, and helpful. I'm having trouble with the activity gal, but other than that it's a good place. They have a bus that takes them for rides, so those that are locked up because of the pandemic are still getting out. They really appreciate it. The bus also takes some people to doctors' visits. The activity gal, she has exercises and hitting a ball to try to keep 'em busy.

South Pointe is a lovely and small community. We have 5 cottages that serve our independent residents. These are 2 bedroom and 2 bath with washers and dryers. We provide housekeeping once a week, and 2 meals a day. We have a penthouse apartment on top of our assisted living building that is a one-bedroom unity. It is for independent folks only, and comes with housekeeping, laundry (linens only), and 3 meals a day. We have 37 assisted living apartments, where we do very heavy care. We do sliding-scale insulin injections, for example. These come with housekeeping, linen washing, and 3 meals a day. We offer activities to all our residents, and utilities are always free. We have dish tv, and free internet for the assisted living residents. Our community bus takes residents to doctor appointments, and on outings. We are a wonderful, amazing community. To learn more about this providers license and review other available state reports, please visit: Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Long-Term Care Residential Options

My aunt is in South Pointe. It is beautiful. We chose it because we think it is perfect fit for her. However, it is like a condo style, and my aunts like living in a home. This is a small community. They can keep an eye on her, and she cannot get lost. They have activities like bingo, ice cream social, fitness program, gardening, cards, flower arranging, karaoke, movies, bible studies, pinnacle, outings, and happy hour. They say if she has a cold, call them and they will bring food out to her. They are doing mardi gras and educational things. They do an auction. They are a very close knit group. Where my aunt is is perfect, but the inside needs to be updated a little bit. Their menu changes quickly, and they also have some inputs from the residents as to what they want. Her place is smaller, but she has a full kitchen and can cook if she wants to.

My mom is doing well at South Pointe. It is very homey. The living atmosphere is good. Everyone leaves their doors open, so it's like they are in their own bedrooms. The staff is very nice. They have lots of activities. They have bingo, music, and seasonal activities. However, my mom doesn't like the activities director, so she doesn't participate.

My mom is at South Pointe. They're taking good care of her there. I would recommend this community to others. Overall, they're very personable. They have large rooms, and they're just all-around good people.

Caring and comfortable. That's what we found for our Dad, who had really started isolating. Now he is the first one to many activities - especially meals! He loves the home cooking and the fellowship. And we love being able to rest easily knowing he is loved and cared for.
