Birmingham Green did not look as luxurious and was not quite as nice as the other facilities I had visited for my mother. The only interaction I had with a staff was with the lady who showed us around and she was excellent. Their residents did not seem to be as happy there. They had one activity room that had things going on at the time of my visit, but I didn't notice a whole lot of other activities. What I like best about this place was their patients' rooms. They were very large, private, and pretty secure.

My mother has been at Birmingham Green since February. She said that the people there are really great. She doesn't go down to dinner or lunch so they bring her a snack. The assisted living facility is very nice with its own living apartments. They're little apartments with keys to their door, with their own bathroom and kitchen. You can also cook your own food in your apartment. They have activities like bingo, crafts and exercise. I would recommend this place to other people.
