You can do better than this company. Don't get me wrong, we appreciated the care my mother received, but when she passed away, the company was supposed to refund the fees they had already collected for that month. Their contract says they will do that "within 60 days". Despite confirming their obligation to do so and the amount of the refund, they did not send the funds as required under the contract. What was much worse, though, was that they wouldn't return (or even acknowledged) my e-mails or phone calls asking for a status update. It was only when I threatened legal action that they finally replied, and even then it took them another week to send the funds -- which was, in the end, more than 45 days late. There was no apology for the behavior, no offer to pay interest on the funds they improperly retained, or any other acknowledgment of their failure to comply with their own contractual language. At a time when our family was grieving the loss of our mother, this company made us continuously pursue them to get them to do what they had promised to do. It felt very intentional, and thus I do not recommend doing business with this company. There are plenty of other care facilities that I am sure do not treat their patients' families this way.
