"My father-n-law recently passed away at Grace. He resided there for about 9 months, but lived in neighborhood. We want to thank all of the staff that work there. When touring the area( I toured several) this is by far the best place in Northwest Houston. They were caring, environment is always clean, and very helpful. We had hospice as well. There is not any perfect place. I know that they have stars in Heaven for what they do and have to deal with daily. If we had a concern they addressed it immediately. This was a very hard decision for our family, but I know in my heart we made the right choice. We had peace of mind he was cared for. Thank you Grace staff, Pastor Dewitt , and Pastor Nash for what you do. Keep it up. God Bless you all. "

"My boyfriend's mom was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. It was great. It was well-equipped, and the staff was great. Her room was spacious. It was kind of like a hospital room-type setting, maybe a little bit more comfortable. It's kept clean. They got a board with her condition and her progress as well as the people who were taking care of her and her schedule. With regards to amenities, they had a really large gym that she was able to go to. It's a good place."

"The Broadmoor at Creekside Park's staff seemed really nice. The facility was excellent, clean, new, and modern. It was a little pricey, but I liked it a lot. There was a salon and physical therapy. The food looked good. "

"She recently had heart surgery, and when she was released from the skilled nursing side of ManoCare Health they told us about the assisted living. The staff has been wonderful. We were very pleased with the nursing staff, and the attendants were very friendly and caring. We dropped in often for a visit to make sure everything was going OK, and she has actually has done very well. The rooms are very clean. They don’t provide furniture normally, but they actually got approval to pull our bed from the skilled nursing site to loan to us until she was able to get in and out of a regular bed, so they have been very accommodating. Sometimes the food looks better than other days, but that can be anywhere you go nowadays. I think they’re very good about making sure all the residents go to eat; they go to the rooms and get them. They have done a wonderful job. It actually kind of looks like a hotel dining room -- it’s very nice, they have tablecloths on the table, there is a fireplace there, and they probably have 15 or 20 tables. My mom is very much an introvert and sticks to herself, so they purposely put her with two residents that talk a lot to try to talk to her and interact with her, so they’ve put a lot of thought into what they’re doing and so far we’ve been pleased. They have had events where they bring in pets for the elderly, pets from shelters, they’ve have had craft class. They have church services from several other churches. They actually have people that go around on certain days of the month, and for the women they paint their fingernails and toenails. And I know they do have some other activities that I do, but she has only been there a week, and even when she was on the skilled nursing side they went and got her and brought her for the activities. They can improve maybe on the food, as the food sometimes looks really good and sometimes it isn’t. "

"I had a Grandmother that recently stayed at the Woodlands Health Care Center. I also have a relative that works at the facility. In my opinion it was a very good place for my Grandmother to spend the last days of her life. The facility was clean with a very educated staff. Her room was always attended to and was recently remodeled. The bathroom was very pleasant to be in and had all the necessary equipment for my Grandmother to get around easily. Also the staff was very kind. When I visited her she always had nice things to say about them including personal conversations she had with them. Also, they celebrated holidays and kept it as up beat as possible. It was always decorated to to go with whatever season it was. It was very large but they had such a large staff that they could accommodate everyone. Whenever there was a time I wanted to come by I could. We also could take her out and bring her to our house as long as she was back by a certain time which was never a big deal. Another plus was that the hospital was right down the rode so if ever there was an emergency it was never a far drive. Overall the Woodlands Health Care center was a good place that I myself would not mind staying in if it ever came to that. "

"Great therapy department, but nursing is significantly understaffed. Difficult to get a consult with the Dr, and it took a HOURS to find out that my mom broke a bone when she fell. "

She is happy that she decided to move here. She doesn’t use the amenities or activities due to her condition but she hopes to at some point. "

"My mother stayed at Regent Care Center after she was hospitalized with pneumonia. She had been in other nursing homes and Regent Care Center was by far the best. It was always clean. The therapy was excellent and the nurses and CNAS were always friendly and helpful. When she was ready to go home, everything was taken care of to make the transition as easy as possible. I would recommend Regent Care Center to anyone looking for therapy or long term care. "

"My husband is in Villa Toscana at Cypress Woods for rehab, and it's really nice. The therapists are very good, the place is very clean, and they keep it clean. The staff is good, the location is very convenient to my home, and the grounds are nice and kept well. Their beds are mahogany wood with foam mattresses, there's very luxurious furniture, and the cafeteria is very nice and well kept. It's almost like a luxury hotel."

"This was the second skilled nursing/rehabilitation center that my mom stayed in. I was very impressed with the nursing staff! Elizabeth has been a nurse there for 18 years and she was an absolute angel! She was very gentle and kind and my mother wanted to take her with her when she left. Anthony was amazing at rehab. he pressed hard for my mom to gain her strength and motivated her. I would highly recommend CyFair Park Manor. "
