"Among the places that we visited, Spring Creek Village was the one we liked the best. It was an assisted living and had a memory care unit, too. We ate a meal there, and it was better than a five-star restaurant; it was just perfect. We liked the rooms; they were nice and large. They have similar floor plans as other places, but theirs just seemed above and beyond to me. They were great; we really liked the staff there. It was just very nice. We really liked it. "

"My mom is at The Pines at Oakhurst. It's a small community and the staff is very caring. She'd fallen and broken her hip. And they've just gone above and beyond to make sure she has what she needs. She needs all the care right now. I have not tasted a meal there, but my mom seems to enjoy the food. The place outside, I think it's nice. It's been hot outside, so there's a nice backyard area to go out and look at birds with trees. We haven't had a chance to do that and it's really hot right now, so I'm looking forward to the fall and getting cooler and being able to do that. But the facility's nice and very well-kept."

"The visit I had at Brookdale Cypress Station was good. The facility and building are nice. It had a more luxurious feel to it. They had a good-sized bedroom apartment. It was a pretty big facility with a lot of rooms, depending on what you're looking for. It could be overwhelming if you're not wanting a place that big. They have a lot of facilities and a lot of amenities. The dining area was fine. It was a big dining area with a lot of seating. It was standard."

"This is the 3rd assisted living my mother has been in. We are so pleased with the care and attention mom receives. She has many health issue which the owner (a nurse) and the staff stay on top of. She has not had to go to the hospital in over a year. Great place "

"It was nice. I had a nice tour with them. The place was very nice, clean, and cheerful. I met the assistant manager, the dietitian, and the physical therapist. Everybody was so nice to me. They showed me all the rooms; some were single and some were shared rooms. The rooms were very nice. I saw their menu and they had very nice, balanced diet."

"Mom is at Ella Springs Senior Living Community and so far it's been great. She is in the memory care. We visited with the activity director and they seem to have a lot of different activities at the appropriate time changes. In other words, they have only 20 or 30 minutes at a time and they go from morning to evening. So, it keeps them busy. It's very clean and I like the place. The staff is very helpful and caring. It's very well-kept."

"Sycamore Creek Ranch - Shenandoah was very nice. I was there for 30 minutes and everything looked fine and very clean. The staff member during the tour was very friendly, very helpful, and explained things. The dining area looked good. They had large bathrooms for the residents, so those who had electric wheelchairs and so forth had enough room. They had a large backyard area."

"My mom has been lived here for several years. Although we haven’t been allowed in the facility for 10 months because of the virus it has been an excellent place for my mom. They go above and beyond on kindness and care of the residents. I have been very happy with the help they have given me in helping my mom. "

"Avanti Senior Living at Vision Park was very nice, and they have a studio 1-bedroom kind of thing, but it's actually very nice. They have the bathroom separate from the bedroom with a sliding door so it saves room, and they have a walk-in shower; it's just beautiful. One thing that I really liked was they had a lot of activities and exercising. They have a beautiful dining room. Because it was assisted living, they had different ages. It was new, so everything was clean and fresh. They had a lot of nursing care available, and they had transportation where you could get on a van and go on trips. It's very nice. I met a man who has a masters in health, exercise, and yoga and he's very nice. He knew a lot about each one of his residents. They have a gym with mats and little weights, an art room, and a room for technical or computer stuff. I was very impressed. Price is a bit high, but they did have a special where they were giving away medicine management for 3 months which was good. The place was brand spanking new and beautiful, and it would be definitely worth it. When you walk in, you have to sign in, there's only one entrance, and there are no outside patios. In order to get outside, you have to go a certain way. It's like a big circle, but there's no way that they can get out or anybody could get in without a certain entrance. There's an alarm, and there are 3 buttons for someone to get help if they needed help. "

"We toured the assisted living of Proveer At Northgate. It was very nice, and they're very personable. It's not as full as other places. It's a large facility, but they only have 15 residents. That was kind of nice, that they don't have that many residents yet. The staff is great and the facilities are very nice and clean. They also have nice rooms."
