This is the 3rd assisted living my mother has been in. We are so pleased with the care and attention mom receives. She has many health issue which the owner (a nurse) and the staff stay on top of. She has not had to go to the hospital in over a year. Great place

We toured to look at assisted living for my mom. The place was nice and clean, but it was just very dark. The colors and the walls are dark, so it almost gives a little bit of a depressed feeling. There are only 6 residents there and the majority of them are either bedridden or in wheelchairs. My mom is neither. She's mobile, and she's up and about so that just wasn't for her. The staff was very nice during our tour.

I did not like what I saw here. The business owner was not there to meet with me. The caretaker at the time walked me through the house while her patients were in chairs and needed assistance, and she told them to stop and wait. I did not think the house was clean. The room that they would put my mother in was small, and the bathroom was shared amongst all the residents, and that just wouldn't work. The patients didn't speak to me, they were just sitting in chairs, covered up with blankets with a sippy cup next to them.

- Special Comment: We understand not all of our residents require the same care, which is why our residents enjoy customized care and assistance from minimal to total care with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinent care. Our staff of loving, caring caregivers are always close at hand, 24 hours a day, to assist with any of our residents' needs. Our ratio of staff to residents is one to six, which is the best one can get in any assisted living facility. A nurse is reachable 24 hours per day, visiting Physicians are available, as well as Physical, Speech, and Occupational therapies through Home Health Agencies. We also work with Hospices to provide adequate care for those who need that – right in our facilities.
