The Grand Parkway

I toured The Grand Parkway. What I like about it is they also have cottages. Although they're very hard to get into, and that's what I wanted because they have an attached garage. In most places you pay separately, in this case, it comes out the same, but at least it's attached to the apartment. It's on one floor rather than several floors. It's got a lot of amenities, as the other one does even more, but it's too expensive. I compare soup to nuts. I would go to something cheaper and something nice. It's smaller, I think, than the extravagances I had at the other place, but it suits me. It's very comfortable. Anytime I go there, I'm never disappointed. The staff was very nice. I don't think I've ever met anybody that wasn't helpful. You can always call back and ask them what's available, and things like that. The only thing I can say about that place, I just love it. My thoughts have not left that at all since the first time I saw it. They have refurbished everything there, lots on the floors, paintings on the walls, and everything looks very clean. The room size suits me perfectly. It looks small, but for me, I don't need that much room. One bedroom is plenty enough for me. The living room was perfect, the kitchen was not very big. I like it. The model I saw was very easy to see myself in with the less furniture. I don't have that much furniture anyway so I thought it was perfect.

I saw The Grand Parkway. My experience was very good. The cottage has a garage, which I like. They had one apartment decorated so you could actually see what the furniture looked like in it. I like that. The staff was very knowledgeable and nice. She showed us everything. Their location was 2 or 3 miles down the road from the other community. They had a pool and a pond, but of course, right now, with the virus, you can't do any of them. None of the facilities are really open. The outdoor spaces were good; they're pretty. She showed us the coffee area, the gym, and the salon.

The staff are very friendly and know our names when they see us in the hall or common area.Before the virus we had bridge groups once week ,dominoes,42" and other board games. We have a work out room,movie theater ,hair salon on premises,swiming pool and inside mail room. The one bed room I have is very spacious and large couch,tv stand,recliner and amoire does not make it crowded. A bus takes residents grocery shopping twice a week.

The Grand Parkway was nice and close by the supermarket and parking garage. Those are convenient for me. They had a washing machine and dryer, a computer room, and a mini gym or exercising place. The problem I had was that the rent was too high. I also know that the place is secure. The staff members that I met were nice.

Betteanne

Grand Parkway is a newer facility and more expensive. It's a very nice place.
