The only place I went to was Sun City. It was a great place. They had independent living. They had individual homes and cottages. All that I looked at were excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional. I was very pleased with it. They had all kinds of clubs. They had wood working shops. The grounds were well taken care of and well kept.

I've been here at Sun City Texas for 13 years. It's wonderful. It is a community organization, so we pay dues and they keep their grounds up and everything, but your own personal yard. All the grounds are kept up, and it is always top quality. We have ball rooms and exercise facilities. We have multiple tennis courts, basketball courts, woodworking shops, and etc. Every kind of hobby you want, they've got the shop for it. It is first class.

We are purchasing an individual garden cottage at Sun City. That entices what we are living right now but better environment for my husband. They’re VERY friendly. There are many recreational activities like shopping and they also have a barber shop. They don’t provide food, it’s your own cooking.

I have been here at Sun City Texas for about eight years now. The facility is extremely good, very nice, and very well run. We live here independently as if we are in our own homes and I find it very nice. They have plenty of activities like bowling, tennis, and golf. There are probably 100 different kinds of clubs for people. We also have a pool and it almost got everything. The place is also very easy to visit. There's a lot of interest here and at the same time if you like peace and quiet you can get it here. They have good security and I feel very contented living here. This is an excellent community and I would recommend this to seniors who are living independently.
