I moved into Pinewood Hills. I have a 2-bedroom apartment, it's clean, and big enough for me. The food is quite good. They have movie nights, Bingo, and they take us shopping once in a while. Overall, it's a clean community.

I toured Pinewood Hills. They served three meals a day. It was good. It's very clean. It's up to date. They were doing a bunch of remodels there. I got the one I wanted, it's the studio on the second floor, which all have elevators. I checked their dining area. I haven't tried their food yet, but my grandkids went with me. They got a dessert. I really loved it. They have all kinds of activities. They have a bus that takes you anywhere, like your doctor's appointments and stuff. The staff did an excellent job. It's a nice place. It's very well laid out.

I toured Pinewood Hills. I liked the three meals a day, but parking is going to be the worst. Kathleen answered all my questions about laundry. They have bingo, there's cards, and a workout room. They have a library and a movie room. They gave me a menu of what is available, and if you don't want something, you can always get something else, which is good. They showed me a large efficiency room they're keeping for me until Monday. It's fully furnished, but they don't have a stove or an oven, you get a refrigerator and a counter.

What I liked the most about them was that everything was in-house, from the theater room and game room, right down to the barbershop. They also went out of their way to purchase a poker table for a resident who had always played it and it was a nice poker table, not just something out of Goodwill. They care about their residents. They had choices for lunch, just like being in a restaurant. It's clean and it smelled nice. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it.

I really like them. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to talk with me about things that I wanted to find out about, and what I could do there. They had exercise equipment and activities to do. They have quite a few veterans there.

For independent living, Pinewood Hills was a very nice facility. I liked the grounds and the outside, and if they had a lower-level unit, they could have a little patio area and it seemed very clean. The staff was all very friendly. They were wonderful. They were celebrating some kind of senior living week and all the staff was dressed up in their rodeo stuff and it was really cute. They were very pleasant with the other residents. They're not modern and new, but they're clean and fresh, so that makes up for it. They were serving lunch and it smelled good. They had groups that they took in the bus to the senior center, and then they had transportation to doctors' appointments within the area, which I liked, and they had some activities like bingo and games that the residents could participate in. Anything to keep their mind active is good.

Pinewood Hills was lovely. I really liked the people there. It's just my mother doesn't want to move now; it had nothing to do with them. The rooms were very nice and brand new with new carpet. Their activities were really good. The food was good, too, especially the cookie. The dining area was very open and inviting. The staff was wonderful, and the facility was really nice.

My visit at Pinewood Hills was a pleasant experience. The tour, the facility itself, and the rooms were nice. I liked them. The one guy who took us around seemed to be a pretty nice gentleman. I didn't have any complaints whatsoever. The residents looked happy; the few that I spoke with seemed to be very happy and pleased. It seemed like a good place to live.

Pinewood Hills is our first choice; it's absolutely beautiful, and all of the first-floor have direct access outside without the encumbrance of a porch. We were very impressed with the facility. It's close to all our current doctors and medical facility.

Pinewood Hills is a very clean facility, and the staff has been very helpful. They have activities, like they do barbecue outdoors and they have a hair salon in there. They also have games and do exercises. They also have transportation to areas and to the senior center.

The residents at Pinewood Hills were very friendly. They would help you get into it. They were helpful in making you welcome. The staff was superb. The only problem I had for myself was I'm in a wheelchair, and they had really nice carpet in all the rooms. It may be hard for me to get through the rooms. The apartments were really nice and clean. The food was really good.

I was able to visit Pinewood Hills, and it was a wonderful facility. They toured me around the whole community, and it's very clean. Their rooms are also very clean. About everything I saw at the time I was there, there was nothing I could say was negative. Everything is good. If my mom would want to move somewhere, this would be the place I would consider. I would definitely put them at the top of the list. I remember they had a calendar that showed activities. I also saw a gentleman who was singing Christmas songs. The residents were very friendly, and they were encouraging her to come to the facility, and they would make her welcome.
