My family member was recently hospitalized. He didn't qualify for a skilled nursing facility upon discharge, but couldn't go home either, as he needed more supervision than was available. I found Horton's Personal Care Home to be just the right solution. The proprietor is a nurse with 35 years of experience. She and her family and staff, all trained and certified and bonded, care for up to eight patients in a cozy residential home. She was very professional, yet caring and patient with my ailing family member. His was a short stay for respite care, but I was so impressed that I will strongly consider Horton's Personal Care Home should we need long term care in the future.
