My wife has been in The Hill at Whitemarsh for a month and a half now. She is in rehabilitation. She has benefited a lot from physical therapy and occupational therapy. She has improved substantially. Her room is pretty well laid out and kept in good condition. Maintenance is good, too. The staff seems to be well trained. The food is good. Because of COVID, people are generally dining in their own rooms.

The Hill at Whitemarsh was the nicest, they were very friendly and very helpful, and they were able to answer all my mom's questions. The food was good. The layout was nice. It had a huge library. It had a lot of amenities. It was very light, airy, and spacious. It didn't have a dark feel. There's a courtyard, garden, and pool.

My father is at The Hill at Whitemarsh. It's a very nice facility and very clean. They have security at the front gate, which is very good. Everybody is very nice to him, and they treat him very well. He's really happy, and he's doing very well since being admitted there. The staff are very nice, very professional, and very compassionate. They take really good care of him. The food is excellent. They have an excellent menu for them to choose from. They have lobster bisque. He's very happy. Everybody was very nice to me and very polite to everybody. It's definitely worth it.

My father moved into The Hill at Whitemarsh. It's a beautiful setting on the old farms of Erdenheim. They have every amenity my father could think of having. They have fine dining, theater rooms, and two pools. The nurses are fantastic. I can't say enough about them being wonderful. They also have a ward where they can go if they're sick. They're excellent with their wound care and everything. It's such a beautiful place that it's like walking into a fancy hotel, and everybody caters to everything they need, and they watch them and take care of them 24 hours a day. They're just fantastic. They have buses and drivers that will take them anywhere they need to go. They just sign up and let them know. I'll probably go there when I retire too because it's beautiful where it's located, and I am overwhelmed with how well everybody has been taking care of my father. I do not have a worry in the world of him being there. They have so many activities too, even for the ones that can't get up and walk around. They have all kinds of things for them to do in their chairs, from painting to bingo, to even dancing and yoga in their chairs. They play music for them all the time and keep them moving, and that's the key. Even though they're stuck in a chair or something and can't walk, they are still trying to keep their bones moving. They're on top of everything above all the other places I've looked at. I've had dinners there as well and it's very nice. It's like a five-star dining all the way. The price is the average rate that's going around, so you can't get anything under $6,000 for 24-hour care. It's a good bang for the buck.

My husband had rehab at The Hill at Whitemarsh. We were very pleased and impressed by the care that he received, by the friendliness of the staff, and by the cleanliness of the facility. It's an extremely positive experience. It was well done, both inside and out, attractive and well maintained. The staff was engaged, professional, and attentive. I ate there once, and it was quite good. It wasn't your typical hospital or institutional food; it was freshly made and tasty.

The Hill has gone down hill big time! Years past this was a destination of choice. I just had to remove my mother from rehab at the Hill on 1/7/2018 due to the grossly lacking care she received. Staff was not complying with Doctor orders. Refused to shower the patient after she was finally allowed to get one post op after a MONTH! Dignity of the patient was violated. She was isolated in her room due to a virus outbreak and the lights didn't function properly, the TV didn't work etc. Just horrible horrible care.

Life care doesn't live up to 5 star reputation! Mom has lived independently for years. She recently moved into assisted living, and was initially told she would be allowed to eat meals in the main dining room with the friends she has made over the years. However, the Hill is big on appearance and doesn't want someone with physical aging issues in the dining room. It's bad for appearances and public image. So, Mom is banded from enjoying the social connections and friends, trapped with memory care people, although her mind is still sharp.

The Hill is good, my father is there, and I know a lot of people living in there. It’s a nice facility; the apartments are brand new and larger. The food is great, and the dining room is really nice. They have swimming and a gymnasium, and they have an auditorium for speakers and lectures.

I probably would give 5 stars to The Hill at Whitemarsh, but it is very expensive. However, that was what I was looking for: assisted living for my mother. It was beautiful. It had all the bells and whistles.

Driving into the Hills is the first glance of what is a beautiful community on lovely, sprauling grounds. Upon the drive to the main buildings, you would simply think you had entered an upscale over 55 community! There are gorgeous villas and cottages for those living independantly, and there are other options for care as needs for skilled care comes into play. Many activities are available, and there is just about anything you might want right on site, including a theatre, a fitness center, and an aquatic area. The common areas are so well decorated, one would think they were at an upscale hotel. There is a feeling of class and upscale throughout the facility. However, putting aside the beauty and activites, let me address the care. This staff is far and wide one of the most experienced and dedicated I have seen in my travels in care communities. Residents come first and are treated with care, respect and dignity. A woman resident who had moved from a large home to come to The Hills still needs to look her best, and it was hearwarming to see her aid willing to make sure she was dressed to the nines for dinner. I was laughing with her as she brought in the earring from which the lady could choose. This may have seemed small, but to this woman who was used to a certain lifestyle...it was very important, and helped her through this next stage of life. It is not hard to see the entire staff puts their best foot forward to make this community one of the top in the area.I would recomment this highly!
