Ecumenical Retirement Community

We visited the Ecumenical Retirement Community and my dad liked it. It's very nice and we're very pleased with it, so we stopped looking. Everything there was nice and the people were extraordinary. The staff who gave the tour was great. The room they showed for assisted living was very nice. They had lunch for us, it was really good, the food was delicious and my dad liked it. Their dining area was very nice, and clean, and it looked well-organized. They have a few gardens as well. The staff members were very nice, that was one of the things that my dad liked, that everybody was so nice to him.

My mom is currently in Ecumenical Retirement Community. It's fine. And it's good for that level of care. Her room is nice. It's a private room. It's good, it's clean. The staff is pretty accommodating. She said the food is very good. I know they do shopping trips and bus rides. Not that she does them, but I know that they're available and they do have a variety of different activities as far as holiday parties and they do games out in the living room. They have church services. It's your typical dining area. It's nothing spectacular, but it works. The staff changeover is high and certain staff members are not as friendly as others, but some are good there.

My brother is happy at Ecumenical Retirement Community. He's only been there four days. Communication has been good, and the staff so far has been great, very nice, and very helpful. The food is fine; he likes it. His room is fine. They have private rooms and shared rooms. They have an exercise area, outside areas to sit, a barbershop and nails, a common sitting room, activity room, and physical therapy room.
