"Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County was fantastic. It's a beautiful facility. My wife was in the memory care and the people were all top notch. Even the cleaning staff, when I'd come in, would ask me how my wife was doing by name. The food was very good. I was impressed with it. They had senior activities where they had a group of residents in a circle and they'd throw a large ball back and forth to each other. There were memory games where the staff would ask for them to complete jingles for different products on TV. Everybody was participating."

"Juniper Village at Mount Joy was a very nice place. The grounds were very nice and pleasant. It was more of a country setting. The dining area was very spacious and clean. The place seemed very clean and very hospitable. "

"We choose it for my brother-in-law because my mother has been there before. Our experience is very good. The rooms are very nice. The staff is very helpful. The food is good. They take them on bus trips. They take them out to eat. They do sightseeing. They have all kinds of activities. Plus, they have physical therapy and games. What stands out for me is the warmness of the surrounding and the care of the staff. "

"I toured Harmony at West Shore. They were very polite and accurate. I mean, they did a tour as I expected, to show me everything, asked me if I had questions, and they were very helpful. Lori was very accommodating and very nice. I didn't see any refrigerator in the private room. I saw that in their dining room. They have a dining room so they all come out and eat together."

"Autumn House East was nice. It was clean and it seemed like it was well run. The staff during the tour was awesome. I liked him a lot. His name was Michael. The dining area looked good. Everything looked fine. People were eating and they seemed happy. They had places to sit, a library, common areas, and a nice cafeteria. They have doctors on site, which is good. It was close to a hospital and everything."

"I have visited Autumn House West, they're very professional and very helpful. It was during COVID so things were a little stricter, but we were allowed to bring personal items at that time and we were allowed to visit during normal hours during the day. We're impressed with how professional the staff was. The layout was a little larger than I thought and they simply have the needs that we needed at the time. What was there was sufficient. They have a small common space. I think the food was pretty standard, it wasn't extraordinary by any means, like a restaurant. But it wasn't like hospital food."

"It is a really great place. It is very close to a hospital, and it is really nice. I went in there actually before my meeting time with the lady I was supposed to meet with, and I talked with the some of the ladies and gentlemen that live there; they really like it. It is a beautiful place, and I like the fact that it is all on one floor. It is just very nice. The staff was very nice. I only met with the one lady, and she showed us around. She showed me the calendar, and it is quite a lot. They have a completely full monthly schedule of different things to do every day. They have trips to Wal-Mart and even rides in the country on the bus. I kind of like that the residents are able to sign up so they could do that. I also asked about us coming and taking my mom out for the weekend, and there was no problem it. It is very comfortable and homey, and it did not seem like an institution. It is lovely, and I think if my mom is going someplace, I would like to take her to see it. I was viewing it to make sure it is a nice place, and I thought it is really nice. I would definitely take her back to see this one. "

"My Granny was a resident of Linden Village and also my husbands Great Grandmother and both received excellent care. Everyone from the front office staff, the nurses and the caregivers were very caring, kind and helpful. It made the transition for our loved ones and our family very easy. The rooms where just the right size. They both enjoyed all the activities. Linden Village has beautiful Courtyards for the residents to walk."

"My Great-Uncle has been living at Oak Leaf Manor (Landisville) for about a year. I have visited him at least twice a week since he has been there, so I am very familiar with Oak Leaf. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. There is plenty of outside seating including two gazebo's. There is also an outside picnic area and nice walkways for the residents. The interior is wonderfully decorated for whatever season it happens to be. There is also a water fountain inside that is quite nice so sit around and relax. The dining room is nicely laid out and the food is good. The residents rooms are spacious and clean. The staff at Oak Leaf Manor is very friendly and caring. If any problems arise, the staff do their best to accommodate you as quickly as possible. There are a lot of activities for the residents, including BINGO, a theater room, scenic bus rides, crafts, and veterans activities. Overall Oak Leaf Manor has a very comfortable friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a home for a loved one who can no longer live alone, I highly recommend Oak Leaf Manor. "

"I like the units at Juniper Village at Lebanon because they are spacious. The physical appearance is typical for that sort of environment. It is clean and the price is very fair. However, their dining room isn't a substantial size; there are only four people to a table. It is small, but well lit. It's all casual. It isn't crowded or spacious, but it is sufficient."

"Victorian Villa was an excellent facility. It was about an hour from my home. It seemed professional but yet home like. The people were extremely friendly. I could sense a secure atmosphere, and I would recommend anyone to visit if they were looking for a personal care home as opposed to a larger facility. The rooms were spacious. The facilities were excellent and well maintained. They had an elevator for residents who needed walkers or scooters. They had exceptional cognitive activities which I really liked. "

"Oak Leaf was close to our home. At that time, my mom had a condition where she needed to be in medication every two hours so we decided to place her there. She was well taken care of being there. She was there for three months only but they treated my mother as if she was their mother. They were absolutely beautiful people. They provided three meals a day, which was part of the fee. She had her own room. Their lobby was beautifully furnished with bookcases and residents can take any books they want. They also had different activities and entertainments would come in for the residents. She just loved it down there. If I had to stay in a place, this is the kind of place I would want to stay. Oak Leaf also has a memory care unit and that too is a beautiful facility. "

"The Middletown Home is a humongous complex with a lot of room to move around. It has a very likeable and caring staff and nice roomy apartments that they built to suit you. They also have continuing care there, so if you're sick and you live with somebody, and they want to go away, they can check you in there, and they'll watch you well. Whatever you need, it's right down the hall. "

"I visited Country Meadows of Hersey. It was very nice. They had memory care, and it was convenient. The facility and grounds was clean, very up-to-date, and very comfortable. The staff was attentive. The rooms that we saw had their own bathrooms. They were very nice and very safe with wide doors and rails. They were very good for seniors. The dining room was very nice, and it had tablecloths. The location is very quiet and nice. We had some interaction with the residents, and they were very happy. There were activities and I thought they had bingo, puzzles, they had trips somewhere, movies, they had some guest speakers, and there was also some religious activities. I would absolutely recommend them to others. "
