This was a second short term stay for my husband in a year. We were so comfortable after his first fall that we knew we would be pleased with this facility again. The physical therapists, the occupational therapist, registration, nursing and social services, as well as food services and facilities care were all so pleasant and helpful. Even for a tall person like my husband, they were top-notch in his care!! Thank you!!!!!

Maybe they will talk to you if you just show up but don't expect a call back no matter how many times you call.

Do not trust this facility with your loved ones!!!! My loved one has bed sores, the facility smells like piss, my loved one has a condition that requires medicine and has not received medicine in 3 years. My loved one also has hepatitis C and is receiving no treatment for it at this facility the only medicine they give my loved one is constipation medicine this facility never answers the calls never returns calls I can't imagine how this place is upholding during covid-19 there should be an investigation on this place something is not right about it there's nothing I can do because I'm am across the country

I used this facility as a respite stay for my mother, (as I for the past 6yrs.am her primary caregiver). She's diagnosed with dementia and diabetes and unable to walk. She was there for 2wks. While there she fell, “which upon my request” took 2days before an x-ray was done. Upon my mother’s return home it was necessary to have her transported to the hospital emergency room, where I was informed that she was severely dehydrated, with a UTI and her blood sugar #s were quite high. I spoke to numerous people there but my complaints and concerns fell upon deaf ears, because no one could/would give me any account of her care. My mother was w/o these health issues when admitted, and within 2wks she was in this condition. Nursing care there is the worst and quite unprofessional. Will never use nor recommend this place to anyone. Had she been there any longer she may not have returned home to me. I don’t recommend this facility to anyone who cares about their loved one.

I'm now in Bryn Mawr Extended Care. I have been here for 3 weeks now. It is fine for being a nursing facility. I think they are only short handed here and there. The rooms are like any structure like this -- i.e., you got a room with 2 people in it. I think the food is pleasantly OK most of the time. I think it is well put together, and it is nutritious.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. My husband went for physical therapy rehab and was not given PT until we made a huge fuss. When confronted with the original PT therapists he was accused of lying about receiving treatment. The therapist was rude and condescending. There was no consistency of care, had to call for meds regularly. The food was inedible. It took over eight hours to be discharged even through they knew the day before he was being discharged. The entire experience was hell. There were several good, caring nurses - but that is the only bright spot.
