"My brother has been placed at Inglis Day Program. It's for people who can't help themselves from wheelchairs and things. It's working out great. He loves it there. There are a lot of activities, and they're very helpful with him. He is in the nursing home. He needs 24-hour help. They're very good out there. He likes it, and he is happy. The staff members are very attentive and very nice. Everybody is pleasant. I don't think there are any problems with the staff at all from what I've seen. When I visit, they seem to be very good. There's always somebody in there. They have a lot of activities for the patients, and that's what he likes. I've never seen any problems with cleanliness, either. It seems to be clean. It doesn't have any kind of nasty smell or anything like that. Once in a while, you'll have maybe a urine smell here or there, but the people are disabled, so they have to clean them. I have not tried their food, but my brother said it's good. They also try to have different activities there for them. They have a musical band there. He was a musician, so he liked that. They have games. The grounds are beautiful. They would go out on the grounds. He has his own power chair now, and it's nice. He is on Medicaid, and that's a very big reason because he has a very low income. It was really a process, so we felt very lucky we found that place."

"My 82 MIL has some dementia, mobility issues. She gets very bored at home. We started sending her here once a week-she loves it! now she goes two days and it’s the highlight of her week! seeing her friends, having lunch, playing games. She did not want to go at first, now she would go every day! It’s been a real joy to see her find pleasure in her life again. The staff is very caring, so sweet, and fun! Definitely recommend this place for your loved one. "

"Senior Care of Chestnut Hill is by far the best adult day care center in the area. I was looking for a place to care for my disable mom after my dad passed away. Not only is the care impeccable, but the staff is extremely professional, warm and caring. I was so worried about how to balance caring for my mom and working and this center provided the perfect combination of care, nursing, warm, healthy meals as well as an array of fun activities! They even had live entertainment the other day! I visited several other day care centers for the elderly and this --by --far exceeded my expectations. I checked into the company as well and found that they are highly recognized in the industry as being reputable. I would totally recommend this center for anyone whose elderly loved one needs care during the day. Thank you Senior Care of Chestnut Hill. You are heroes in my book! My mom looks forward to going every day to see her friends! She actually has friends now! Thank you!!"

The mission of Mercy Neighborhood Ministries of Philadelphia, Inc. is to create partnerships and services that respond to the needs of those who are poor in the North Philadelphia community, especially women, children, and persons with special needs. The Sisters of Mercy have worked in partnership with the working poor of the Tioga-Nicetown community for more than 40 years. As a result, they have developed relationships across generations that have been manifested in the work of our ministry. Since its incorporation in 2003, MNM has remained a beacon of progress for children, adults, and the elderly in North Philadelphia. In 2005, MNM purchased an abandoned warehouse that opened in 2009 as the Mercy Family Center - the first green building constructed in North Philadelphia and now one of 42 silver level certified buildings in the City of Philadelphia. Mercy caters to needs of the senior community by offering a safe, caring, and stimulating environment: a comprehensive program that uniquely integrates social interaction, creative activities, personal care, and nursing services. Based on our experience and the evidence of health and medical providers, Adult Day Care is “the least expensive and most desired form of Elder Care,” in that seniors can age in place in their own homes while receiving the necessary services allowing them to live their last years with the dignity they deserve. (NADSA study comparing all Long Term Living options) Who can participate? Any adult age 60 and older can participate in our adult day program. Also eligible for adult day services are those experiencing difficulty with daily activities due to health problems and/or disability. What do we offer? Personal care plan Nursing services Social services Socialization and community Health and wellness activities Computer activities Music and crafts Recreational and cultural enrichment Delicious, healthy meals Necessary assistance to continue living independently in their own homes or with a family member High quality care by caring professionals Services that improve and enhance quality of life Sense of belonging and community Joy and peace of mind Mercy Neighborhood Ministries offers compassionate, loving care. "I got in late to Senior Care, so I didn’t see everything. They changed over to a new person, and he was there only 2 weeks. They were very flexible in the schedule, and they provide transportation to the facility. I thought the cost was reasonable. They even offered to go with me and do an assessment for me. "

"I was hesitant to send my mom to Wiley. We live about a 1/2 hour away and the building at Wiley is not modern by any means. But, I gave it a try because I heard great things about the care at Wiley. It has been 3 months since mom started and it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff is tremendous and they really do care about the folks that attend. Do yourself a favor and consider Wiley when looking for a medical day program for your love one. "

"My mother lived at the nursing residence for 4 years. Prior to her long term stay she had a short term stay in the rehab facility. My Mom was content. I along with my siblings felt she was safe and well cared for the entire time she lived at Abramson. Whenever we had issues, the staff was very responsive and tried to correct. I always had a good feeling when I entered the facility and when I left after a visit. We researched many places/facilities before we made our decision to place my Mom at Abramson. We made the right decision and felt very fortunate she was accepted and a bed was available for her. They are 100% occupied most of the time. Timing for admission needs to be perfect. Highly recommend "

"As an Emergency Room Nurse I have seen many patients come in from various nursing home and assisted living facilities in the area. I have seen a wide range of care ranging from fair to excellent, so when it became time for us to look at a nusring home for my father, the choice was easy; Parkhouse. Parkhouse has exceeded our expectations with their compassionate and skilled nursing. Patients from Parkhouse have always arrived to our ER in the best of physical condition and the facility is clean and bright and well staffed. The case workers, admission teams, social worker and director have all been incredibly supportive and have helped us to work our way through the incredibly complex and frustration medicare insurance process. Our father has dementia and multiple physical issues that have made it impossible for him to stay in his home any longer; the transition to Parkhouse was as smooth as it could have possibly been and the staff help him to feel like he maintains some of his independence while we know that he is safe, well cared for and treated with both dignity and respect. I cannot say enough about what Parkouse does; they truely are the best at what they do. We are grateful every day for Parkhouse. "

"This adult day care center is far from professional compared to any other center i have visited. the employees are a rude and don't care about anything that goes on around them. I guess it's the training given from their higher ups, and unfortunately it shows as soon as you walk in. supervisors are disrespectful to employees and argue on front of clients and family memebers. So unorthodox. "

"I am the sole caretaker of my Godmother and I bring her to Senior care several times a week,This is the best place that I could find, the workers are amazing and very caring,I have seen the interaction of the workers with the clients everytime I drop me Godmother off and pick her up,and they are perfect and respectful. My Godmother loves it there and she never wants to be in a strange place so that alone is saying something about Senior care,The supervisor kerri has been and still is extremly helpful ,friendly & courteous,Kerri is the best that I could ask for to help with my Godmothers needs, I don't trust any Daycare Facilities at all but this place run very well and I would and do recommend my clients parents with needs to go there. "Senior Care Warminster is taking good care of my wife. She gets lunch from them. The amenities appeared to be adequate and varied. They have sing-along, Bingo games, exercises, and lunches. They appeared to be doing a reasonable job, and the staff is professional and very friendly. They appeared to be very accommodating, attempt to please you in whatever manner they can, do a good job in assembling folks who seem to get together even though they don't know each other, and spend pleasant days together. The place is also very clean. "
