Lady of the Lake

This isn't a nursing home, it's a short-term rehab care facility and everybody who enters is expected to be fully well within a few weeks. My relative was put in here after her doctors (two physicians who have practiced a long time at Lakewood Hospital and won awards, etc.) recommended she be put there for recovery from a post-surgical complication. The head of the Skilled Nursing disagreed with the doctors causing a big argument over whether my relative would be admitted there or not, and when she finally was I thought the people in charge did not provide her with very good care. For example, they did not follow dietary guidelines communicated through her doctors and left her alone in a situation that led to a fall (fortunately she wasn't injured). They were basically looking for an excuse to transfer her out and I was relieved when she did go to another facility as I was really afraid something would happen to her in there. I understand Lakewood Hospital may be closing soon anyway.
