Indian Springs has the most unprofessional upper management staff!! Their social worker and her assistant are the worst health care professionals that I’ve ever dealt with! If you truly care about your loved one, really reconsider choosing this facility! Horrible communication and customer service!

The pt at this facility is excellent. The care in this facilility is below sub-par! This facility was instructed to check on my incisions—they said they checked and everything was fine. Two weeks later when I was realeased, I had a massive infection, my incisions had opened and I went to the emergency room. I now have a wound pump and it will probably be a month before the infection is under control ( if I am lucky). Be very careful at this facility, I had to argue with staff about pain meds—they said there were no directives—there were—seems it was too much trouble to check doctors instructions. The physical therapy dept is excellent—doesn’t do much good if you are dead!

I would not send my chicken to that facility. They took hours to answer calling lights just to have a colostomy changed or to get the resident back in bed. P.S the colostomy bag finally did explode. The one ONE nurse u saw the week the resident was there was very nasty and unprofessional

Do not put you loved one in this facility if you care at all about them. The care and understanding there is about equal to an animal farm. The filth and smell of bodily fluids is that of a animal pen. There is absolutely NO accountability from staff or management, which result in the restrictions for you to move your loved one to a respectable facility. There reviews speaks volumes! It is ALL about the dollar with the very least monetary expense from them.

This place does physical therapy ONLY!!!! The doc and jewish hosp said his meds may have mimicked parkinsons, or he has parkinsons. Then they sent him here to get strength. They cant do any changes to meds. I gave them a urine sample to see if hes still bleeding in urine. They cant take it. They dont do that. The doc is only here a couple days a week and they cant say if they could reach him. No one is looking out for my ex but me, but im involving COA for help. I was warned about this place. They were right. Im trying to move him to a place that will attend to his other current illnesses.

I have lived here for several months now and I love the staff. They're very kind and helpful no matter what you may need. The building is very clean, therapy and activities are great, and the food is good. I really do enjoy staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for therapy or long term care.

I have been a resident here for almost 3 years. The staff are very caring and when you ask them for things they'll do it. The food is very good and the dining room is nice. The care I receive is great. They take care of all my medical needs. The activities cover a variety of events, from cookouts, entertainers, religious services, stretching, arts, to Lunch Ins. The building is clean and always looks nice. I recommend the facility to everyone.

My favorite part of being here is the interaction with the staff. Everyone is so friendly and caring. If I need anything staff will take care of it in a timely manor. The food and activities are also really good. If I get in a similar situation again I am definitely coming back to Indianspring.

The staff here are great. They're kind, caring, and are always going that extra step. Nursing and therapy is top notch. Building is clean, decorated nicely and just beautiful both inside and outside. Food tastes good, activities are fun, and residents enjoy each others company. I have the choice to go to other places but ALWAYS choose Indianspring.

My son stayed here for a week waiting for his next surgery. The physical therapy and occupational therapy was excellent. The staff met all his needs and the meals were very good. If there were any problems they were taken care of in a timely manner. Over all it was a wonderful experience. If we would ever need rehab again we would definitely choose this facility again.

I have visited friends in the facility many times and found them to be well cared for and the staff to be friendly and attentive.

Overall, I think Indianspring of Oakley is a very attractive facility. It’s newer, relatively clean, and neat. Aesthetically, it’s very nice, but operationally and staffing, I would grade them a C at best. They could use some consistency. My mother had trouble getting her medications on time. Her food was often cold. They had trouble with staffing, so her baths and the doctors were irregular. The physician’s assistant had seen my mother a few times, but she’d never seen her face. All she did was review her chart. My mother was there for three weeks before she actually saw the physician’s assistant.

This place should be shut down, or fire everyone. They take too long to bring meds, or for aide to come help. They bring your food on dirty dishes, and food is nasty. Don't speak to the residents nicely, and don't clean the rooms every day. They have broken down wheel chairs, that should have been replaced, along with broke furniture in the rooms. Staff is lazy and they all should be fired. When you call after six pm there no one to talk to. My mom got there at 12 pm didn't receive any meds till after 8 pm. She was there for three days I took her out of there If anyone ask me I will tell them not too go there.

I wa a resident for one month in rehab after an ankle break. In the beginning I thought it was the perfect place to be. The entire staff was attentive and caring. The physical therapy staff was excellent - very caring, listened to what I needed, and wanted to make sure I returned home making sure I was able to do what I needed to do. My aides were amazing and were always there to help. They answered my calls very quickly and always treated me with great respect. The nursing staff was not good at all. It usually took them an extremely look time to give meds - even after they had been told by aides. The activities staff was excellent with residents and were always very kind to me. They always showed great respect and love to the residents

For physical and occupational therapy very good. But the nursing staff is terrible. When I complained that my medicine was 1 1/2 hours late the nurse said " so - you got your medicine, that's the bottom line. " I pointed out that I had been in extreme pain and would be for another 45 minutes as that is how long it takes the meds to kick in- she shrugged her shoulders and walked away .

There were a lot of people here in Indianspring of Oakley that my mother knew. The staff seemed to take a real interest in her. I would recommend this rehab because they not only take care of the person, but any family member that might have any questions. They seem to bend over backwards for you to get you the information to help you out. The room is a little small for me, but I'm a larger person. But for my mom, it seemed fine.

hate your family and want them to die? put them here. there are a few good employees, but overall they are lazy and could care less about the residents. you ring and request help, they roll their eyes and mock you. need help to get to the restroom? they tell you to go in your pants and they'll clean it up later. I wish I was kidding. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I would not recommend Indianspring to anyone. They give out information saying that they are a lockdown facility but then they tell me personally that they are not. When I called them, they told me that they could accommodate my husband with his dementia and for some reason, all of the sudden, after the 19th day, they decided they couldn't accommodate him. It was a newer facility and the building itself was nice, their rooms were also nice; however, some of their employees were not too nice. They wouldn't give me any information underway just because I'm not my husband's power of attorney, but it said in their paperwork "power of attorney/next to kin" and I thought that was wrong because I'm his wife.
