Lakeview Senior Apartments-Beavercreek looked very nice. The people were very friendly and even the residents were very helpful to us too, because the first day we showed up there (we didn't have an appointment or anything), but they explained to us that the office was closed and all that and showed us around a little bit. Then we came back later with an appointment and got a very thorough tour. I liked the layout of the rooms much better than any other place I looked at. Pretty much they're all two bedrooms, but they had two different sizes of two bedrooms. They were set up with a very good-sized washer and dryer in every room. The bigger two bedrooms had a bathroom off of each bedroom. The smaller one just had a bathroom, but they were very good size and the rent was reasonable. The rooms were set up where they told us if there was a fire, you could just stay in the room because you're safer in the room than you are outside. Overall, we were really pleased. They didn't have much to offer. They only had a few things like a little game room, a pretty good sized cafeteria, and a little pond that was out in the back with the outdoor area there and everything, but it was really nice looking and mainly what we liked about it was the fact that the rooms were very, very safe with all kinds of handicapped gear and a string to pull for alarms if you need assistance or something. That's also near where all my friends live and everything, so that was one reason why we're considering that place. They don't offer you meals. You have your own kitchen and you fix your own food. They have a cafeteria area, but they said they only use that to serve food for special events like birthday parties. They don't have regular meals there.

I'm moving to Lakeview Senior Apartments. I have already put a deposit down and everything. They have things that I need. They have a walk-in shower there, and they have a washer and dryer in the apartment. It is much better. They have handicapped accessible doors. It's very nice. The staff are very nice people. The staff member told me they have a couple of activities. She said every Friday or Saturday night they get together, a small group of them for a meal in the evening. It has a lot of things. It has walk-in showers, it has grab bars, and it has all that stuff. They don't provide food; I have to buy my own food. That's one thing it doesn't include, but it includes everything else. It's very nice there.

I've moved to Lakeview Senior Apartments because I like the location and I like the convenience of everything. Everything's within walking distance. The construction is very cheap because they've had a lot of issues that could have been resolved if the building had been constructed properly in the first place. The staff was wonderful, they're very good. The activities are excellent, they've got bingo, movies, coffee hour and dinner events. They've got a coffee shop, libraries, exercise room, and a hairdresser.
