"A number of family and friends relatives have been in the facility. The facility is clean bright and homelike. Physical therapists are friendly and push just enough. The staff is short, so sometimes a longer wait. Only real issues we had was the food service. One was on a diabetic diet and they sent banana breads and sweets, even after 2 weeks of telling them she could NOT have them they were still on the tray. They were very helpful with accomidating her large frame and helping her rehabilitation and get home. "

"My mother stayed there, first in the rehabilitation wing for six weeks, then as a private pay resident for 11 months (she wanted to continue getting the excellent physical therapy services) before moving to assisted living at another location. Throughout her stay there she has received the best care possible. The nursing staff is attentive and the CNAs are pleasant and hard-working and really care for the residents. The staff is in constant contact with family whenever a medical issue arises. The food is OK (much more flavorful in the rehab wing, but once you're a resident the quality goes down a small notch). The first floor private room and private bathroom are very nice, both in rehab and in the regular nursing home section. The second floor smaller private rooms with shared attached bathroom are way too small and are to be avoided. The grounds are lovely and provide many areas that residents can go to for fresh air. Prompt transportation shuttle for medical appointments a valuable service. Many activities and accessible religious services. Residents can be as active or not as they choose. "

"My husband has gotten really good care at Lasata Senior Living Campus West. People stop in regularly and check on him. One time we were late coming back from a doctor's appointment, and they called three times to make sure that he was with me and not wandered off. He's got really good physical therapy and occupational therapy and they've been very attentive in helping him regulate his activities to his limitations. His room is spacious and up to date, as well as the areas that are important to most people, like the bathroom and the shower. The campus is set on some rolling hills so you can look out and see greens. It's a lovely view and most importantly for my husband and everybody else. The food has been excellent. When you don't feel like going out, they come up with trays and they're very accommodating. The common areas are well appointed, very pretty, and make you feel like you're in a large hotel. The most important thing is you want to make sure that the people you care about are well attended and my husband has not ever had a problem having somebody help him when needed or get the right therapy so that he can move forward and progress in his recovery. The staff has all been very kind and attentive. The facility is very clean. Unless it's a newly built facility, it's going to show some age, but it's very well-appointed. It's decorated for the season. It's very pleasant. It's lovely. I know I'm talking only about externals, but that's what's important for them. It's attractive. They have bingo and card games. I would have thought they would have more outings, but they don't. They're a good value. They didn't ask for the money down for the activity fees that the other place was charged at $2500. We didn't have to pay for that. We only had to pay a security deposit, but that's refundable based on the condition of the property. So I feel pretty secure in my husband getting that back."

"My mom was here for a few months, and I have nothing but positive things to say! Every time I visited mom was clean, dressed, hair styled and supervised with either an activity or in view of staff. They have activities and technicians that got her back on her feet and stronger: walking, exercise a pureed diet and attention. The staff: friendly, interactive and knowledgeable. The facility smelled clean, the dining facility was clean floors were clean bedrooms clean and beds made. "

"The therapists are the very best. The caregivers came in to my husbands room and introduced themselves. Medications were given timely. All the staff made sure to know the residents names and always greet them with a smile. The food was excellent, and the cook always came out and made sure every one had their meat cut up if needed, and would visit with the residents and help in any way she could with their needs. Activities were planned, and there is a lot of open space outdoors to enjoy for the residents as the weather warms up."

"I picked LindenGrove Menomonee Falls because it was recommended. Also, it's in Menominee Falls, so it was close by. My sister could come and visit me and take care of things for me. It's a very clean facility. The staff is outstanding. I can't say enough about them. They treat us very, very nicely. I think it deserves a 5-star rating. It's an awesome facility. I would recommend it to anyone. They are an outstanding staff. They really care about you here. Their food is obviously made in large quantities, but it's good. There's nothing bad about it. It's very clean, and the staff is always right here. The maintenance crew is good. It's a nice place to rehab, and their therapy department is outstanding. They have bingo once a week, and they give out prizes and stuff when you get a bingo. That's always fun to get out of the room, where it would last for about an hour or so. Today they had Shetland ponies come, so it's pretty cool. They also do a Vegas day, and that's like once a month. They play poker with cards, and we play as a group. They also have live music come, too. They try to get the residents all involved. It's worth the money for the care you get here."

"My sister-in-law was in Linden Grove and it was a very friendly and nice place. It was well run and they cared for their patients. "

"As current residents . I cant say enough positive comments. The staff and administration are caring, compassionate and always there to support and help. The apts are beautiful, and there are multiple layers of assistance should one need it. Taking packages to your apt, clearing your car of snow, not feeling well...they check to make sure you ate okay. The people are warm and friendly. The food at the dining room is outstanding. lots of social events if you wish. central location on gorgeous Eastside for walks and visitors. Next door to St Mary's hospital. Excellent doctors onsite, and full fitness center with trainer. its a place with a heart and soul! We are very grateful for all the kind and professional people that are dedicated to helping seniors throughout this stage of life. "

"I’ve lived here for 4 years and I love it! You don’t have to buy in and the value for what we receive is fantastic. Everything (water,electric, Wi-Fi, garbage collection, maintenance, activities, etc) is included in our rent which wasn’t the case with my mortgage...to say nothing about lawn mowing, snow removal, landscaping, and all the other headaches of home maintenance. And then I was living alone! Here I have made so many new friends, and have all kinds of fun activities which I don’t have to plan or arrange or drive to! The building and our apartments are airy and sunny and they don’t smell like a nursing home or hospital! We can do as much or as little as we feel like! It’s like living in a fancy resort! I would never go back to living in a condo or house! Come visit us and see for yourself why this is my dream home. I can’t even list all the amenities because this review would be a thesis. I’m a retired school teacher and never dreamed I’d find something this nice for my sunset years!!!!! "

"The Canterbury Court assisted living facility looked like a lovely place to live as we arrived. We were checking out places for our aunt to live in the area. The grounds had many places for seniors to enjoy safely with minimal supervision. There were many park-like spaces with large trees and nicely manicured lawns. We really liked the atmosphere of this home-style community. The residents seemed content, well cared for engaged in socializing. The interior design was orderly and easy to navigate. Rooms all had nice views with a soothing décor. The main dining room had a spacious and cheerful decor. The residents were offered healthy, home-style cooked meals in a comfortable restaurant setting. All of the food looked and smelled delicious, as well as prepared healthily. The menus included interesting dishes, as well as the usual American foods. Snacks are offered throughout the day and whenever residents want them. The fitness center includes a variety of exercise classes. The staff supervises use of the equipment for safety, which includes bikes, treadmills and weight training machines. Some residents choose to take daily walks along the lovely garden pathways. The staff sees that the residents are encouraged to exercise daily. The private spaces were all individually decorated with tasteful colors and all had a light, airy and homey feel. The units also had nice views and beautiful furnishings. Bathrooms included all of the necessary safety features. The calendar included many stimulating activities like nature walks, visits to local cultural and eating establishments and other community events. The seniors looked well tended by kind and caring staff. It was clear that everyone at this facility enjoys their work, which contributes to the nice atmosphere and contentment of the residents. "

"The staff were really friendly. They showed us around and even introduced us to some of the clients that went there. This shocked me because usually when we visit different facilities they're really dry. Some don't take the time to talk to you or ask if you have questions. There was one time we looked at a facility and they gave us the quickest tour I have ever experienced. They zoomed right through it. That along with there dry voice and "i don't want to be here" attitude definitely got them scratched off of our list. if they can be so dry and careless with a simple tour, then that leads me to believe that they'll be careless with my grandmother. that's my biggest fear. no one wants their grandmother to be treated poorly anywhere at any time. That's why i look for quality facilities with genuine caring people. "

"This assisted living provider seems to be very good. They are kind to the residents, and offer them a very wide variety of activities to participate in every day. There are many volunteers, and the volunteer coordinator does a good job of keeping everyone in the loop about what is going on, and when events are happening. The Jewish Home and Care Center is located on beautiful Prospect Avenue in Milwaukee, and overlooks a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. There are many gardens surrounding the home where residents can spend time, which is nice because no one wants to be cooped up in their room all the time. If you do not have a car, the home is very accessible by the route-30 bus. Due to the religious nature of the home, most of the residents are Jewish, but not all are. They have both kosher and non-kosher dining halls, and offer a wide variety of Jewish religious events for the residents. "

"Lutheran Home was more of a hospital type of place. They were very busy, but they took the time to show me around, and they showed me everything. So that experience was very good, and I think they do very well with the people. They had different sized rooms in which some may have the bathroom in-between one room and another while others were private. They had some activities, and I thought you get good care there. "

"This is a great facility. The rooms are spacious with private bathrooms. The variety of activities is wonderful, and there are even evening activities. The staff are friendly and truly care for their patients. My dad has been there for 4 months now and we haven't encountered anyone who isn't kind and patient with him. The gardens are beautiful and well cared for. "
