As current residents . I cant say enough positive comments. The staff and administration are caring, compassionate and always there to support and help. The apts are beautiful, and there are multiple layers of assistance should one need it. Taking packages to your apt, clearing your car of snow, not feeling well...they check to make sure you ate okay. The people are warm and friendly. The food at the dining room is outstanding. lots of social events if you wish. central location on gorgeous Eastside for walks and visitors. Next door to St Mary's hospital. Excellent doctors onsite, and full fitness center with trainer. its a place with a heart and soul! We are very grateful for all the kind and professional people that are dedicated to helping seniors throughout this stage of life.

What is most attractive about the Milwaukee Catholic Home is the caring staff. Every phone call or visit to this facility has provided contact with a competent, caring, and quality staff. For example, I have experienced the nursing staff assisting a resident in making a hair appointment. This task, the nurse could have easily completed faster without the resident's help. However, the nurse understood how important it is for the resident to feel independent. Another plus for the Milwaukee Catholic Home is it connects directly to Columbia-St. Mary's Hospital. This makes it possible for residents to take themselves to their own medical appointments, another way to feel independent. Residents can take the underground hallway from their residences to the hospital without the need to go outside in the cold winters or during the stifling summers. Having worked in a nursing home, I know how important it is to have a quality, caring staff and the closeness to emergency care in this case is a bonus!

I visited the Milwaukee Catholic Home at 2330 N Prospect Avenue on Milwaukee's East side this past winter to get a feel for the home. My parents will soon need a place that can provide the care necessary to extend their long and healthy lives. I was immediately greeted upon entering the Milwaukee Catholic Home which added to the safe and secure feeling of the facility. The Milwaukee Catholic home was elegantly appointed and had a fresh aroma unlike other facilities in the area. The Milwaukee Catholic home also provides daily activities for their residents to engage in to develop and maintain friendships, stay active and healthy, to learn and to grow and most importantly to boost morale and energy levels. The Milwaukee Catholic home also works with local University students to bring services into the facility to further benefit the residents. I would recommend the Milwaukee Catholic Home to anyone seeking a safe and dependable living facility.
