"I toured Foothills Retirement Community. They're a very nice place, at the top of the line, with many activities. It's more like a hotel. They're very nice. I only dealt with one person. He was very nice, very helpful, and toured the whole area. He just answered all my questions. They have apartments and they have one-bedroom facilities. They have a lot, depending on how much you want to pay, and what your needs are. If you need more care, they probably have you in a one bedroom with a bath included. They have everything like game rooms and an outside courtyard area with a fireplace. It's very nice."

"My mother has moved into Piedmont Post Acute. The main reason we chose it was because she had been there once before. It was under a different name, but it's the same staff and everything, and it's close to her family. She really likes it there. Right now, she's there for rehabilitation to help her walk again after the break of her leg. The staff has been very helpful and very attentive to her. She likes the staff, especially the therapeutic staff that are working with her. She has commented on how good the food is. She was surprised. She does memory testing and things like that. What they're doing with her right now is therapy to help her walk again. They have a salon and a courtyard and a formal dining area, and if her family wanted to come in and fix a meal and have a meal with her, they can. They have quite a few amenities that would be admirable for most places. Right now, her fees are being taken care of by Medicaid and her insurance."

"My mother is at the Heartland Health Care Center Greenville East (Formerly Oakmont East Nursing Center) right now. She's not been moving, and she's not functioning but so far, everything has been okay. The place looks amazing and clean, and everybody's been friendly. They call me a lot and let me know what's going on. She's on the rehab side, which is the East. They have meals. We haven't been able to go in mainly because of Covid, but we looked through the window. I see her with food, but I don't know what it tastes like and I've never had it. We're not able to go inside, but from what I see through the window, everything looks okay. The bedding looks good. She seems comfortable, and she's clean. I don't see any dirt on her or anything. She's not doing anything, and I don't see anybody out there really doing as much because of Covid. Pretty much, the place is on lockdown."

"My aunt moved into (Promedica) Heartland Health Care Center-Greenville West. They've been very great with her care, and they're communicating very well with the family. They've taken good care of her. The staff is very attentive and very caring. I think they do have activities, but she's not at the point where she can do any of them. It's not real modern, but it's clean. They have basic rooms, they just have the basic necessity that you have/ that one person needs. It's only a mile from her sister, and five minutes from downtown."

"The staff at Magnolia Manor are kind and caring. They have a clean workspace and a very productive staff. I believe the staff were fully capable to perform their job, and I would even trust myself in their hands."

"Greenville Post Acute was very nice and clean. My friend went there for rehab and then it got a little more extensive than that. They've got flowers and places to sit. It's small, but it's a very nice building. It's well-kept and I was impressed. The staff is very nice and helpful. They did their best to help him. I went through an area where there was a big table, and people sitting around, talking, playing games, and watching TV. He is in a private room and it has everything in it. It was well equipped and it's got everything that a person would need. There was a single bed, TV, and windows. It was a little lacking of seating there, but other than that, it was a nice room."

"My wife was at AnMed Health Rehabilitation for two weeks. She was in a shared room. It was an institutional setup. The staff was very nice. We first went there during COVID, and two more times within the last three years. She dealt mostly with the therapists, who were very nice to her. I know she liked that a lot, but every time they started working with her, she'd have to go back to the emergency room and have another operation. I had no complaints. They knew what they were doing. They were knowledgeable. They were very nice to me. She enjoyed the staff. There were no stairs. There was no elevator. A couple of times they placed her far down the hall and I just couldn't make it all the way down the hall where they put her. The receptionist was leaving the desk, finding me a wheelchair, and then wheeling me down to the end of the hall and they had no problem with it. They were smiling. A lot of the girls that took me out to my car when I left were very friendly and very chatty. She liked the food, and I liked what little I had of it. It's a small place. There was one big room you passed that had vending machines in it. It was nice and it was where visitors could meet you and you were not laying in bed."

"My dad moved to Lila Doyle Post Acute. It's all excellent. I had no problems at all. Everything is kept in tip-top shape. They are the best staff I've ever seen. They got different things. They have something scheduled about every day. They got bingo games. They do different types of arts and crafts. They have people come in and they sing a long. The food seemed to be good. I did not eat any myself. I've not been inside the dining room because my dad has eaten all his meals in bed."

"My visit at Fellowship (Fellowship Health & Rehab) was not satisfactory. They were understaffed. They did not take the patient's total health into consideration. They had a distinct separation between physical and mental, and they more or less concentrate on the physical only. I got the feeling about Fellowship that they were a "relay station" only, that it was just a place for somebody to land between the hospital and the assisted living care. What they could improve on is that they need more staff, and they need to pay more attention to the patient's overall health. The place was very old. It needed updating throughout. "

"My mom is in the nursing home at NHC HealthCare - Anderson. I'm very pleased. It seems that they have enough caretakers to take care of the people that are in there and personal attention was given when needed. They're pureeing her food; I didn't have a meal there. They play bingo, they have movies in the evening, and they also do crafts."

"My mother is in Seneca Residential Care Center, but we do not like it. They're getting served cold food and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for supper. They also have several trip hazards. One is going up to the front door, and my mom's room also has one. The floor is not flush, and she has to pick her walker up over the threshold. We were told of the activities. As of yet, we haven't seen anything. The person we talked to pulled the wool over our eyes. They made us believe it, but it was something that we're finding out not to be true. They have a yard, but there's no trail or anything like that. It's just a grassy area with a picnic table. It's out in the country, so it's quiet. It's near a town and a couple of stores. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom either time we went there. I don't have anything good to say about the place."

"The staff at Seneca Health and Rehab are AMAZING!! From the Admissions process and beyond, the experience has been top notch! We all care deeply about our loved ones and I am grateful for a facility that carries whole-hearted compassion in everything they do."

"River Falls Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was older. The look of the place was not up to date, but the staff made my mom very comfortable. Everything she needed was there, and the rehab was good for her. The food was also good. She enjoyed it, as well as the activities. The room was a little smaller than she's in now; but she was just there for rehab, so it's fine. They had a calendar on the wall that let the residents know what activities were available. They came around each day with an activity cart that they could pick something from, like a book or other things. Each month they had a birthday party, while they did bingo each day. They had snacks for the residents, too. They offer a beauty salon, and then there was a patio outside."
