HI tries hard to send the same drivers which is greatly appreciated as the drivers already know where my providers are so that saves time and my need to explain . HI knows I am on battery powered oxygen equipment so they have worked with me to minimize no wasted time such as driver coming to pick me up too early. Also, because of my breathing issue, HI encourages their drivers not to wear strong perfumes and deodorants, and not be physically sick before being with clients. "My husband has been in and out of the local hospital at least 5 times this year (2015). Each time INTERIM Health Care has been the in home health care provider. Each nurse has been very professional and caring. And since my husband has been in the hospital and used INTERIM so much, we have developed a bit of a relationship with some of the nurses. My husband has had to utilize their physical therapist and occupational therapist due to his health and every time they have come to our home, they've been so helpful. They make sure all of his vitals are taken, that he has been doing his exercises as instructed and they walk with him inside the home to help get his strength back in his legs and arms. INTERIM has also been a help to me, since I am my husband's only full time care giver, and I am also disabled like my husband. "I got someone to come in to where my parents are currently living. It is not skilled nursing but just help with their ADLs. It is an agency that does personal care, housekeeping and that kind of things. Actually their office is in the same facility that my parents are living in right now. I had talked to some of the folks there who had used their services before. Currently, with my parents, they have only started and have only been coming for less than two weeks. However, from what I have seen, the caregiver who comes to help my mom, she is just very positive. That's what my mom and dad really need right now. She apparently has either a lot of experience or some background dealing with older folks because she goes very slow with my mom and the commands that she gives her are very simple and very appropriate for what my mom needs right now.
