Heavenly Care provided caregivers for our 100 yo Mama for one 24 hour period per week for several months, until we could build up our own homecare team. The caregivers & the office staff were very respectful to me. They always followed through in a superb way. The agency provided one day shift & one night shift caregiver every Saturday. I was informed 2-3 weeks ahead of who would be working. The caregivers were mature with an optimistic outlook.They covered details as well as the necessary steps to keep Mama clean & feeling fresh. They took time to wash / style her hair & keep her skin soft. The caregivers performed their duties perfectly according to the nursing plan of care & agreed upon admission. The caregivers were responsible, on time, bright, loving & observant. Mama was kept comfortable always. High nursing standards for her bed-bound status were maintained. The caregivers were good at providing verbal stimulation, always informing Mama of their next action. Some even sang to her. The caregivers preserved Mama’s dignity & integrity with compassion. The in-office staff were prompt & kind. The leaders have instilled a high code of ethics with professionalism & wisdom that is evidenced throughout the staff. I highly recommend this agency; they are splendid.

The actual workers are quite good, but due to management’s poor and inept practices, one never knows whether someone is coming for a given shift or not. No prior notification is given when they do not have a scheduled time covered causing the client to fend for themselves. Schedules that indicate who is to show up and when are not forthcoming. This is not a good service for clients who are actually dependent on someone else to help them. Schedules are not kept electronically nor are billing invoices. No evidence of insurance has been provided and the workers often complain of being under-compensated which does not help with morale. DISAPPOINTING!

I got someone to come in to where my parents are currently living. It is not skilled nursing but just help with their ADLs. It is an agency that does personal care, housekeeping and that kind of things. Actually their office is in the same facility that my parents are living in right now. I had talked to some of the folks there who had used their services before. Currently, with my parents, they have only started and have only been coming for less than two weeks. However, from what I have seen, the caregiver who comes to help my mom, she is just very positive. That's what my mom and dad really need right now. She apparently has either a lot of experience or some background dealing with older folks because she goes very slow with my mom and the commands that she gives her are very simple and very appropriate for what my mom needs right now. She is also really good with my dad in trying to kind of make him part of it instead of just ignoring him. My dad has a little bit of dementia. I would recommend this agency, they have been very good and very punctual.
