"My mother has moved into Piedmont Post Acute. The main reason we chose it was because she had been there once before. It was under a different name, but it's the same staff and everything, and it's close to her family. She really likes it there. Right now, she's there for rehabilitation to help her walk again after the break of her leg. The staff has been very helpful and very attentive to her. She likes the staff, especially the therapeutic staff that are working with her. She has commented on how good the food is. She was surprised. She does memory testing and things like that. What they're doing with her right now is therapy to help her walk again. They have a salon and a courtyard and a formal dining area, and if her family wanted to come in and fix a meal and have a meal with her, they can. They have quite a few amenities that would be admirable for most places. Right now, her fees are being taken care of by Medicaid and her insurance."

"I have been staying in a room that is not that big. The people here at Capstone are OK. I'm doing therapy for one hour a day. They have been trying to get me acclimated to a wheelchair. They wanted to strengthen my right side, but I want to walk because I don't want to use a wheelchair. About the food -- let me put it this way -- I can cook better than them, and I have only one eye. It is a rehab center for short term and long term rehabilitation. In my case, it is short term rehabilitation. "

"Presbyterian Home has five facilities in South Carolina. My mom was in rehab at their facility in Foothills. The rehab department was very good. Though, on the skilled care site, in my opinion, they needed additional staff there. Mom didn't participate in their activities because she was there for rehab. However, they did have numerous of stuff to do both inside and outside the facility. In general, we really like the place. Regarding recommending it, it would depend on the level of care that the person would need. I would recommend though that people take a look at it. "

"I am the sister in law of a patient with multiple fractures, who is in the rehab unit. The physical therapy staff have been terrific -- good expertise, very attentive, energetic, and good motivators. They also communicate very well with the patient and with the family members. They are the core of his very good care. The nursing and nursing assistant staff also are responsive and nice. This is an older facility, but they make an effort to keep it clean and presentable. In the end it is the staff themselves who are the important factor. "

"My mother is in Seneca Residential Care Center, but we do not like it. They're getting served cold food and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for supper. They also have several trip hazards. One is going up to the front door, and my mom's room also has one. The floor is not flush, and she has to pick her walker up over the threshold. We were told of the activities. As of yet, we haven't seen anything. The person we talked to pulled the wool over our eyes. They made us believe it, but it was something that we're finding out not to be true. They have a yard, but there's no trail or anything like that. It's just a grassy area with a picnic table. It's out in the country, so it's quiet. It's near a town and a couple of stores. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom either time we went there. I don't have anything good to say about the place."

"Steer clear of Hartwell. I have documented medication errors and medical conditions that went untreated brought to the attention of Administrator, Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing. When these issues were supposedly investigated, things were covered up or left off the report in their favor. The floor nurses are programmed to be robots just to pass meds. and follow doctors orders. Management including shift nursing supervisors didn’t even know what was going on. Their was no accountability, staff could pretty much do what they wanted and get away with it. On several occasions, my loved one wanted to go to bed early because of not feeling well and was told they couldn’t until after supper! The only positive thing I could say is there were a few caring CNA’s who worked there but no longer are that did a great job."

"My sister-in-law moved to Fleetwood Post Acute. The client seems well taken care of, and the employees are caring. It's not brand new or anything like that, but it's very clean and it's just well taken care of. She's in a shared room. They do have activities, but she can't take part in them right now. She's pretty much in bed at the moment. She's not eating, but from what I've seen, the food looks good. I've tried to get her to eat it, but she's not interested. They're expensive, but other places are more expensive."

"My dad moved to Lila Doyle Post Acute. It's all excellent. I had no problems at all. Everything is kept in tip-top shape. They are the best staff I've ever seen. They got different things. They have something scheduled about every day. They got bingo games. They do different types of arts and crafts. They have people come in and they sing a long. The food seemed to be good. I did not eat any myself. I've not been inside the dining room because my dad has eaten all his meals in bed."

"Redeemer Health & Rehab was recommended to me and my mother stayed there. The facility was clean and functional. They had the best staff and that was what I liked the most. My mom was well-taken cared and she seemed content. The food was very good although she refused to eat because of her dementia. I would recommend this place to others. "

"I visited Magnolia Manor and they seemed to do a very good job. They were very professional in all of what they did and the people were very helpful too. The rooms seemed very good as well. Their dining room looked very good, clean and well organized. Everything was professionally done. "

"Manna Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is clean, neat and there's great interaction with the residents. The staff is wonderful, they're great with my family. The facilities are wonderful, they have a therapy area and they do therapy for their daily residents as well as the rehab. So they have their own physical therapists and they don't have to come in from anywhere, so all the residents can get physical therapy. They have the typical activities like church service, every day they have reading time, cooking, dancing, drawing, and crafts. It's great, they have wonderful activities."

"My sister was in Diamond Health for rehab after a broken hip. They were really great, but I think they let her go too soon. The food looked very appetizing, and my sister ate everything. Sanitation is A-plus. The staff was very personable and seemed to care about the patients. I definitely recommend this facility to others. "

"My wife stayed at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greenville for rehab. The personnel were very well qualified, very polite, and took very good care of whatever your issues were. They were there to take care of you. During discharge day, they gave me all the information we needed regarding the services that they had given to her progress reports and things of that nature. They were they were top-notch. My wife mainly had physical therapy. I did not try the food, but the meals looked very nourishing in proportions. I thought everything they were doing was top-notch. The facility was very neat, very well-designed, and professionally handled. The activities that I saw, were all very well managed."
