"So far everything is fine with my mother in Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn. They're very attentive, very good, and very professional. Her apartment is perfect, and she seems to have very good appetite. With the COVID virus, there's very little I could do, see, or visit. She's in a private room and the layout is fine. It's great."

"I visited the White Oak Estates' assisted living facility twice. I liked the community and the area itself. There were a lot of things that I liked about it. I liked the safety where they had a button at the door that lets the personnel know, morning and evening, that you're up and alive still. I like that they've renovated the inside of each apartment before each new tenant. The floor plan was really good, too. It had a salt pool, which was wonderful, and a fairly large gym area. They had two ways of entering, and the price was really good. When you put down a fee to get on the list, if you change your mind, you get the entire fee back. The staff members were also great. They were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. There are actually a lot of pluses about the facility."

"I cannot rave enough about the entire staff at Golden Age. My father-in-law has been there since April 2024. I've been visiting relatives in nursing homes most of my life, and I've never seen the level of care in any facility like he receives daily. He is prone to falls, and they constantly keep an eye on him. They are sensitive to what their residents don't care to eat, and provide them alternatives. When I visited Thursday, he had been given a haircut and a shave, and he looked great! The office staff is extremely knowledgable and over the top helpful. They keep you informed on his progress, his attitude, his interaction with other residents, his eating habits, etc. And make suggestions if necessary to make it a better experience. And the nursing staff is equally good in how they take care of the residents. We just could not be more please with them. Plus, there is a great big covered front porch with rockers that the residents can go out and enjoy. That may sound like a small thing, but I've never seen that at any other facility. Even on these hottest summer days, it's shaded and comfortable. We are looking forward to cooler Fall weather and more good visiting time on the porch. It's a traumatic thing to have to take someone you love out of their home and place them somewhere. Knowing the level of care they give my father-in-law is a blessing we do not take for granted. The most important thing to us is that they CARE. It's obviously not just a job. It's their calling and their hearts. If someone you love needs professional nursing care, I can't imagine any other place that provides the level of care that Golden Age does."

"My father was in Greer Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for three months. I loved it because not only was the staff very, very nice and very pleasant but what I loved the most was how they were COVID-19 compliant. They had a machine there that took your temperature and signed you in, and it punched out your I.D. right there at the door. I loved that. Security is in compliance as well, and their doors are always locked. The staff comes to let you in and out, and that's great. They're top of the line. The staff is very friendly and the residents seem very happy. They're clean and there's no foul smell that nursing homes usually have. It was just perfect and then a lot of them were VA clients there. The staff is always working, they're not goofing off, they're very good and I appreciate all that they do. They're taking care of patients that have mood swings, and attitudes and they're being very pleasant to the people who come to visit as well. I paid close attention, and there's no discrimination, like in how they treat the minority like myself as a black woman. I saw a schedule of activities for the patients on his side table, it was a schedule for the whole month. The facility is very nice and very roomy. It gave you a hospital feeling because of the sharing of the rooms. In terms of value for the money, the VA paid for it."

"Brookview was a great facility for our mom’s rehab. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff and therapists were kind, nice, encouraging, and supportive. Kayce, the Administration and Marketing Director, was amazing. She was always eager to help us with any questions or concerns we had. She was very professional, caring, helpful, and extremely supportive from day one. She quickly responded to all our texts and calls and showed us lots of patience and understanding as she went the “ extra mile” to make our rehab experience as pleasant as possible. Kayce is definitely a blessing to the residents and families at Brookview in Gaffney. She is always going above and beyond her duties to make Brookview a success story for all its rehab patients."

"We had a good meal at the Rolling Green Village; it had fantastic food. The buildings were newer and had a large community of extended living, assisted care, rehab center, and independent homes. There were probably 300 independent homes in the community spread over five neighborhoods. They had a pool, physical therapy, a doctor and dentist on-site, big exercise facility, and three fishing ponds. The buy-in was also a big thing, at about $205,000 to get in. "

"I visited this center for review of rehab for a family member. It was very clean. The residents were involved in an activity in the dining room upon arrival. I didn't smell anything unpleasant. The therapy gym was large and patients were getting one to one treatment. The lady who showed me around was extremely nice and knowledgeable of services and general information of rehab processes. All staff was extremely friendly and I saw personal interactions between the staff and patients. "

The staff on pink hall are the best starting with Christy, Pam, Jan, Sherita, Gabby and the CNA'S . Granted there are a few that dont measure up,, but the ones named make up for what they dont do.
