The staff at Lake Emory is great. If I have any questions I can always just ask or email if not there. They do not put you off on another dept or person. I always get an answer right then. Brianna helped me get in touch with the doctor because I work and can never be there at the same time the doctor is. Thank you Brianna for being so helpful and that goes for all the staff.

Visited today. Resident was sitting in urine soaked diaper and bed was soaked. I don't know how long she had been like this. Urine stench was so bad I had to open window. Everything I buy magically disappears. Someone even removed the battery from her cellphone!

My great aunt lives at Camp Care, and the facilities seem pretty typical of similar nursing homes. The facilities seem pretty clean, but there are "smells" sometimes. I suppose that's unavoidable. The facility looks small from the outside, but it's huge once you start roaming around. The doors are alarmed to keep residents from wandering. The facility is somewhat crowded, with two or three residents to a small room. Family members can do the laundry, or allow the nursing home to do it for the residents. There is no bathroom in each individual room, which strikes me as odd. Maybe the portion of the facility my great aunt is in is unique; she does have to wear incontinence products. She seems to be well cared-for, despite the facility's Spartan appearance. All of the staff is friendly, and her medication is given on time. She does not develop bedsores, and there are some activities with other residents she enjoys attending.
