My parents are at TerraBella Spartanburg. What gave them the edge is that they accept pets. I think it's a very friendly and home-like atmosphere. My parents are very happy with the food. Their being pet-friendly is a big thing. There is one person that I haven't been thrilled about, but everyone else has been wonderful. They have a courtyard and a library. The library is on the assisted living side, and there's an art and crafts room over there, too. They have activities. There are several little things on the calendar that they do.

I liked TerraBella Spartanburg except that they were too far from me. It was nice. They have movies, different classes, a reading room, a library, and private units. They had one lady in there that was reading books and two people that were blind that had Braille cards with them so they could get into card games. There were also a couple of other activities that blind residents could participate in. They had a garden area with chairs out there and a front patio. It was nice and clean. There were always people sweeping and mopping. It was well-kept.

My mother has moved into TerraBella Spartanburg. We chose it because it was close to us. I was impressed with the director, and I was impressed with the lady that gave us the tour. It was very clean, and the staff was helpful. They have a lot of activities. They have a choice of meal plans, and they have several little courtyards where the residents can get out and walk around. They have a library and a hair salon. It's all one level, so you don't have to deal with any elevators or anything. It's a smaller facility, so I think that brings more individual attention. My mother seems to be happy with the food. They just don't have a one-bedroom unit. That would've been the perfect thing for her. Their rooms are a little small, but they're nice.

My mom is a resident of The Waterford at Dillon Pointe. It's a small, neat community where the residents get along and seem happy. Sometimes she's happy with the food, sometimes she's not. She's very picky to begin with. She's not always happy but she's not always upset. So, it's kind of in the middle. They have a library, a hair salon, and they also have chapel services. My mom goes to chapel services. They do have a lot of activities for the residents, which is good.

The Waterford at Dillon Pointe was an older building, but it seemed very cheerful. There was sun coming into all the rooms. My general feeling was coziness. The young lady that showed me around was very sweet and listened to everything that I was telling her. The place was small, which I think for some people would be perfect. The people in the hallways and sitting in the community area seemed very content. They were in the middle of having to store some things from a building and one of the rooms that I was shown was a storage room. One of the bigger rooms I saw was small, but I think adequate for most people. For my parents though, it would not be adequate because they would prefer to have a 2-bedroom because of sleeping habits.

The staff here are awesome, caring and so good to their residents and their families. They keep you up to date on what’s going on with your loved one and it makes you smile when you see there went on FB. I’m so happy these people are caring for my dad❤️❤️❤️Thank you to all of you for all you do.

The Waterford at Dillon Pointe is smaller than other communities I have visited, which I liked. But the place seemed less clean. They have a library, a recreation room, and they have church services and stuff. The staff who gave me the tour was really nice.

My sister is a resident of The Waterford at Dillon Pointe and so far it's working well. She has a very nice room. She went in initially as assisted living, and we're going to wait until she gets moved to memory care. And they accommodated that. Initially she had a roommate, but she was able to get a private room. She's doing very well in the private room, and they seem to be accommodating her needs. The staff members that I interacted with tend to be very caring, and they take the time to have a conversation with you. My sister has tried to manipulate them a little bit and they have worked with that in a professional way. The meals I have seen looks pretty good. They keep the place clean, and the maintenance man does a good job. I liked what they offered which is assisted living and memory care. And I like that it's a small community and not a huge one. Plus it's close to her doctor and the things that she needs.

My mom is at The Waterford at Dillon Pointe, and she's getting some therapy and strength back. I have pros and cons about it, but Mom likes it. We had a resident sit at our lunch table the other day, and she and her family were asking Mom, "How long have you been staying there, and do you like it?" and Mom said, "Oh, they treat me like a queen." My problem is she basically has no short term memory, and she doesn't remember lunch, breakfast, and dinner. I'd say "Did you get your shower today Mom?" and she will say no, and I'm afraid that they'll say they're overworked. I wish there was a way that every couple of weeks, they could tell me that my mom refused her shower or have her hair washed all week because that's how she was in the house. But now she's in a facility that can sit her in a chair in the shower and get her cleaned up, and she needs that incontinence washed off of her every day or she's going to get infected, have bedsores, or diaper rash. They tell me she's on a one or two hour potty break, but every time I come, she soaks through her pants. I supplied them myself the bed pads that you use in the hospital with a note that says "Please put mattress protector before she lies down." It's little things like that. Also, Mom is like in a tomb when she's in her room, and her roommate has a queen-sized bed in there, so it's not easy getting around in the room since there's no space in the center like a normal companion room should have. You can't turn around in Mom's room, and she's only got a quarter of it, so I shouldn't be paying for half of it. You just want the best for your family. My mom likes the people there and kids with them. She's not really an outgoing person, but she's become one since she's been there. The administrator would hug her, and they care for their people. I would just want to see a list of what they actually do with her during the day.

The Waterford at Dillon Pointe was wonderful. The staff seemed very upbeat and caring. The place was airy and had a good vibe about it and a good atmosphere. They seemed like they kept people entertained with things going on and things to do. I was at a thank you dinner they had and talked to the lady in charge of the mental care facility, and they seemed to have a good program there. The people were kept very neat and very clean. Everyone looked well-groomed and well taken care of. I just think they had done a really good job.

I loved The Waterford at Dillon Pointe. I thought it was a really nice community. All of the residents loved the place. I was really impressed with the director, and all of the staff were really nice. I had lunch there and really liked it. I thought about touring other places but I would like to see my mom go here. Patrick helped me and told me what needed to get done as far as getting Mom prepared for assisted living. The rooms were very nice and spacious. I toured the entire facility, and I talked to almost all of the residents, and their families were extremely happy about the place. The facility was very nice and something that I think my mom would like to be in. I was really happy with it.

My mother has been a resident in the memory care unit of this facility for over two years. Unfortunately, she will need to be moved to a facility with skilled nursing care. We have developed relationships with the staff there, and it is very evident that they care about my mother. Since it is small, it feels much more like a family setting than an institution. We will be very sad to leave.

The room was smaller, but it was clean. The people at Waterford were very friendly. The only thing I could suggest that they improve on is maybe the size of the rooms.

My aunt stayed at Dillon Pointe. They were very kind, very caring, and very professional. They had menus where she could select from, and she had two or three choices for each meal. In the memory ward where she was, they had a small dining area where she would go and sit with other ladies and eat. The food looked good. She was only there for two weeks. They had bingo, and people came in and play other games with them. They would actually take some of the residents who were able to go out. They would take them shopping. She went out one day to a craft store, and she enjoyed that. I knew she made a necklace one day, and they painted her fingernails. They just gave her a lot of good attention. I couldn't tell you anything that they needed to improve on because they were 5+.
