I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The nursing staff were excellent with my mother for the duration of her stay, all the way up to her passing. They treated her with kindness, respect, and on her final days, constantly checked in on her to make sure she was comfortable. The nursing staff are the best. The reason for the one star is because of the Fleetwood Administrator, Klopfer. On the last day of my mother's life, he put my family through hell. He was highly upset that my mother wasn't passing fast enough, and was determined to move another patient into the room with her. He nearly caused my brother to have a stroke because of his blood pressure skyrocketing. He shows lack of remorse, and compassion, and treats the staff horribly. I can only hope his staff continues to turn against him, and successfully has him removed.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister-in-law moved to Fleetwood Post Acute. The client seems well taken care of, and the employees are caring. It's not brand new or anything like that, but it's very clean and it's just well taken care of. She's in a shared room. They do have activities, but she can't take part in them right now. She's pretty much in bed at the moment. She's not eating, but from what I've seen, the food looks good. I've tried to get her to eat it, but she's not interested. They're expensive, but other places are more expensive.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother-in-law needed to go to a rehab facility and I put the word out on nextdoor to see if anyone could give me some feedback. We liked the thought of her being at a place near us, but only if it was nice. Luckily I had someone who said great things about Fleetwood, so we chose it (there were few Medicare would accept and we knew of 2 that are NOT good). Before sending my MIL, I actually visited just to see for myself. I was shown around by Erica, who is the sweetest! My MIL was there for 3 weeks and I can honestly say that I'm so glad we chose it. It was close enough for us to visit whenever, so if there was anything bad to find I would have. Nurses were so nice. (Summer took very good care of my MIL.) It always smells clean, which is a HUGE plus for me. The only negative I had, which they took care of, was that her bed was not comfortable. As soon as I told her nurse, it took about a day and she had a new one. My MIL said that she loved Paula, who cleaned. She raved about Paula. The PT crew was good and she said the food is good, too. The building may look old...but as I was told by the one who recommended it to me...Don't judge a book by it's cover. Thanks so much to everyone there! I may make it a weekly or monthly thing to go over there and see some of the patients. I loved walking in and seeing them smile when I said "hello!" (date 4/2023)

I visited this facility

This was the baddest place I seen a long time. The facility was bad in very way. The men bathroom was not clean, it was nasty with a coffee cup in the sink. The lobby was not good at all. That had the rehab in the rear of the hallway and the older people up front. That a place you would not want to be there. It was nasty and the whole building need to be remove completed, it was a shame and I took pictures.

I am/was a resident of this facility

I was a resident and the food was delicious and the staff was awesome. I was in P.T. and they are wonderful and Sweet plus they made Physical therapy fun! If I need PT again I will go back. The laundry ruined a shirt of mine and kept another one so I was not happy with them at all!! The cook is great except for the grits.
