My sister was at Lila Doyle Post Acute a year ago. Their staff seemed to be caring and attentive. They gave good care to the residents. The facility was very clean and orderly. Everything was convenient for the residents. To get from A to B, there was no hassle, like going to the bathroom, and things like that. My sister liked the food. The activity department was active and they had activities for other residents to attend regularly. So, I think the activities department was very good. You can see the residents sitting on the patio frequently. They were all outside enjoying the weather when I visited.

My dad moved to Lila Doyle Post Acute. It's all excellent. I had no problems at all. Everything is kept in tip-top shape. They are the best staff I've ever seen. They got different things. They have something scheduled about every day. They got bingo games. They do different types of arts and crafts. They have people come in and they sing a long. The food seemed to be good. I did not eat any myself. I've not been inside the dining room because my dad has eaten all his meals in bed.

My mom was a patient at Lila Doyle for rehab following surgery. She received wonderful care while she was there. Most of the nurses and CNA's went far beyond what was expected of them. I am so thankful for each of them since she was there for a little over a month. We took advantage of the outside facilities and took her outside as much as possible. The only disadvantage was that the rooms are semi-private. Overall, her experience was a really good one.

Lila Doyle Nursing Care Facility was recommended by my husband's doctor. I was quite impressed with their physical therapy. They have a lot of different types of physical and mental therapy for Alzheimer's patient. The food was very good. For the most part the staff was good, but they were a little understaffed. It's also was another place where you don't get a private room. My husband was there for two months and I think it was a well worth it experience. My husband was happy there, but eventually after two months he wanted to come home.

The facility is sub par. It is smelly and dirty, but the staff shows sincere interest in the patients and for the most part the patients seem to be happy. It seems to me that there needs to more activities for the patients to do. On the second floor there is one television room, and the television is so small that someone with good eyesight would have to squint. The patients seem to be happy because they are cared for, but the over all moral in the place is defiantly slacking. I would say that the facility is absolutely understaffed and needs to hire more nurses. They have a very nice outside area there with a covered patio and fans, but there isn't enough staff there to aide patients outside to enjoy it. It seems as if they are making an effort to raise the spirits of patients. It is a nursing home after all. They have a really nice program there called Namaste where patients can go to get manicures and listen to relaxing music. Over all, the facility is well managed and does the most with what they can do with the funds provided by the state. There is definite room for improvement, but it really seems like they do the best with what they have.

The staff and caregivers at Lila Doyle nursing home treated my family member with the respect and dignity that they deserved. Although the staff seemed a bit overworked, the nurse aides worked well to come together as a team and help all the residents to dress, shower, eat, and be comfortable throughout the day. I am a caregiver myself and know how the caregivers at Lila Doyle feel when taking care of the residents. I was glad to see that they gave such great attention to my family member. I visited on more than one occasion and my grandmother received great care each time. She was very glad to be in such a caring, nurturing environment. The nursing staff at Lila Doyle Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that each resident and family member felt secure in knowing that their loved ones were in the right place.
