"The Residences at Park Place is working out really great for my mother-in-law. The place itself is beautiful and gorgeous, and the staff is awesome, kind, gentle, and helpful. They have a variety of food and offer snacks all throughout the day for the residents. They have a dining area and a neat little setup for family; if you want to give your loved one a birthday party, you'll just have to reserve it. They offer so much stuff."

"It is very nice, and the rooms are very nice and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The dining room is very nice and has menus, so if you don’t want what’s there, you tell them, and they will fix you something different. Some of the people there have small dogs with them. Pets are allowed as long as the residents are able to take care of them. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful during my visit at Summit Place. It's a beautiful place, and it?s like a home. I like that they have everything I needed, but just very far from where I live. "

"I think the staff at Clemson Downs is very attentive. The facility is very clean and just very bright. The rooms are nice. They have a lovely porch that overlooks the woods from the back with flowers and bird feeders. The care that my family member is getting has been excellent. Even though it's memory care, they take the residents for activities in different locations within Clemson Downs. So, they're not stuck in their room. They also take them off the facility, like for ice cream or dinner or things like that. You don't get too much activity in other memory care facilities. My family member is high-functioning, so it's good for him. He gets three choices for each of his meals and he gets to choose fruits or juice. The facility looks pretty new. It's expensive, but if you can afford it, this is the place to go. It is the nicest of the memory care facilities by a long shot. It's well worth it. I have no hesitation when I walk away from there feeling that he is cared for, that things are clean, that he's being well-fed, and that the staff is very alert and considerate. They are very professional and it's a beautiful facility."

"I visited Clemson Heritage Senior Living. The facility is beautiful and very inviting. I think she said it was like three years old. It's nice. The common areas or the gathering areas are super nice with good seating and an environment that would make people comfortable. The rooms that I toured were small. I didn't get a lot of information from the staff, she just basically showed me around. The dining area is beautiful, but I did not sample any food. I saw a couple of residents doing puzzles, I didn't see any structured activities, but they had a full calendar that I looked at."

"The facility really needs some help for the aesthetic properties. The house looks really, really old and it needed to be remodeled. The flooring was not leveled. It had 3 or 4 different floors. The carpets and the rest of the stuff smelled like disinfectants. It's very, very strong! I just didn't like it. I asked the owner if the facility always smell like this and she said, " Well, we only use it in the commodes." I just can't believe that was true. Although, I love the lady because she was very open and she gave me more information about how assisted living works than anybody that I've talked to. But, I just wish her facility had looked a lot better and the furniture was a lot better because it was horrible. The residents seemed happy and even the employees seemed happy. They said, "We know you're going to love it. Your mom will love it here." But it just really broke my heart to see the condition those people were living in. They said they were remodeling and I could tell that they were, but they need some grant money or something to really update the facility. This is also a bit far away from my house and my concern is the distance factor. My mom has asthma like I do. I know that I would not be able to go there without having an asthma attack. The staff was great, but I would suggest for them to change the wallpapers of the facility to make it look new and bright. The rooms are not well-decorated. Well, I would bring my mom home before I would even let her go there. "
