"I did a lot of research as to where I wanted to go for rehab. A lot of friends and family recommended St. Maryss. I also saw that it was 5 star, and that was a selling point for me. St. Marys Staff went above and beyond my expectations. The care was fantastic and the Tender Touch therapy department was great! They helped me get back on my feet quickly and I couldn't thank them all enough. I highly recommend this facility! The concierge on the rehab unit was an extra bonus touch. She made it feel more like home for the time I had to be there. She would come in and check on me and make sure all my expectations were met. Thank you St. Marys you guys are great!"

"The staff at Phoebe Home was very nice. They didn’t try to push me into getting it, that’s what a lot of them do; they left it up to me. They didn’t rush me at all and they answered any questions I had. It could have been a little better but I can’t complain because they were helpful when they can be. They’re so busy sometimes you didn’t get the attention that you really needed, but they were pretty good. I was really happy with them. The place is clean all the time. They’re always doing some sort of cleaning - mopping the floor, cleaning windows. It has a cheery environment and they’re so nice to the residents; anything they need, they help them right away. I like that about them and they listen. They have all of activities there. One day, they put them on a bus and off they went to see a movie. The residents were thrilled that they could get out of there for a while and go watch a movie. They do have bible studies too. "

"After a 26 day stay in the hospital (Nov 2018), I was sent to Manor Care-Montgomeryville. I chose this facility only because it was close. Little did I know it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had the pleasure of twice being a guest at Manor Care-Montgomeryville. The first time in the hospital was difficult. The first hospital sent me to a upgraded hospital within 2 hours. The doctors refused to treat me until I received 5 units of blood. I heard one doctor tell another doctor - he should not be breathing, he should be dead. The first surgery was removal of a cancerous tumor in my bladder. The doctor told me that my tumor was the largest, by far, he ever saw. It took 2 operations over 2 days to remove. Time to move to another upgraded hospital. This time I had double vein replacement in my left leg. After some surgery recovery time, I was sent to Manor Care. This is where the good stuff begins. The medical team took care of my physical problems. Which means it was up to Manor Care to help with both my physical and mental recovery. As you can see, I had no idea what was going on. I was completely in their hands. Things didn't always go smoothly. I am an independent person. I don't always do what someone wants to do. Probably 90% of the things that weren't perfect, were my fault. Nobody's perfect. Three weeks and its time to go home. I truly believe that I am alive because of my doctors AND the staff at Manor Care. With the help of all the staff, I  made it thru the first visit. Two miracles and many blessings later. End of January and I'm back in the hospital. Little toe and tip of two other toes removed. Back home to Manor Care! Ten day stay. Back home- home. Again, THANKS to everyone! "The staff at Abramson Center was very caring, and helpful. They were all lovely. The facility was excellent. I know they have a lot of activities, but we were not able to have an opportunity to take advantage of them. "

"My mom is on Elm Terrace Gardens' waiting list. I thought this facility was welcoming and homey. The residents there looked clean, well cared for and content. The room that I saw I thought would meet my mom's needs. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and sincere. They said they would get back to me and they did. We did talk about their activities and they did have regularly scheduled activities. That's one of the things that made me choose them. "

"My partner is in Harborview Rehabilitation and Care Center at Lansdale. The community is nice and I feel like this would be helpful for someone who needs to be somewhere for longer than 30 days. It would be beneficial. My husband is happy with the food. They're clean and the rooms are clean. I just feel like the one in charge of the business office could be more professional. That's how I feel about that. I feel like she can go more into detail when she contacts people's families about the residents' income or anything like that. For a minute, we were having a big fallout, but now we have a better sound condition. They have good food, and I think it's beautiful for people who live there. As far as the nurses and all those people, they're very nice people. Everybody else was very cooperative."

"For me, Foulkeways is fabulous. I would like in this place. I like the people a lot. I like the staff and the administrators. They were very nice and very approachable. I like they have different activities. I also like the fact that the residents are included in the number of decisions. "

"My grandmother lived at this nursing home facility called Gwynedd center square for approximately 6 years. My grandmother had a stroke that debilitated her severely. She went from still being able to talk and eat when she first entered Gwynedd center square to being unable to communicate or eat in the last years of her life. This nursing facility did an excellent job of taking care of my grandmother through the remainder of her life. At the most basic level, she was kept very clean, moved regularly throughout the day to avoid bedsores and only rarely developed urinary tract infections. She was cared for with great kindness. Feeding her was not an easy task and the aides were usually very patient with her allowing her to take her time to eaat during the years that she could. the people who work at this nursing home clearly care deeply for their patients. The facility also has beautiful outdoor areas including an pretty vine covered pergola and a pond with fish and turtle. The outdoor area is a kind of place you can take families with young kids outside to keep them occupied and spend time with their older relative. The only small thing I would point out is that their hallways could be made prettier. "

"Brittany Pointe Estates is close to my neighborhood so I visited the place. It's a very nice facility with good food. The people are very pleasant and professional. They met the needs of their clients. What I like the best is that they have continuing care. As you get older and need more care, you don't need to leave the place and go somewhere else. "

"I recently visited this nursing home and I really am surprised. When we pulled up the outside of the building is brick and kind of like a castle and alittle outdated. I thought uh-oh this isn't starting out right. When we got inside I was surprised again. There was no odor like urine. In fact it smelled like any other house you would walk into any where. The people were nice. The nursing staff were accomodating. They were playing bingo in this big dining room, while some people were smoking outside. The patio was nice, I just didn't like the idea of smoking. But that's only me. I asked a couple of people how the food was and got mixed reactions. The rooms are semi-private and by the looks of it you can bring your own things with you. I mean not over do it but enough so your comfortable in your currant surroundings. They do have some private rooms. So this place was better than I thought."

"This place was one of the best things my mother ever did. It was perfect for her as she lived there for almost 30 years. And she did get to stay in all of their diferant wings such as assisted living and the nursing wing. All of this is there and I can tell you from many visits I always found it to be clean, operated by knowledgeable staff who liked what they did. To me this means a lot. All in all a great place. "

"My visit at Normandy Farms Estates was great. People are very welcoming and very willing to include you, and that was nice. I think the facility itself is very nice. There are several different kinds of apartments that you could get. The food is really good. They do different kinds of things. They have many committees that people are active in. They also have pool exercises and some fitness classes. They have lots of music activities and lectures. "

"My father-in-law is in Artman, and they do a pretty good job. They help him with some things. I feel like this is a place I would recommend. It's clean. They're attentive, and they have activities. He has just an efficiency, and then you would go out to the dining room for your eating and things like that. I had the food, and it's geared towards a senior citizen. They were very conscious of the amount of salt they put in the food and things like that, but the food is OK. They have entertainment with singing, movies, bingo, and things like that. The staff is very good. The building is a little older, but clean. You have to have a certain amount of savings to be able to go here."

"My mother is currently at Ambler Extended Care. She is a stroke victim with dementia and in a wheelchair. She has been there a year and it's the best choice we've made. Her previous place was horrible. The aids stole her stuff, neglected her and she hated the food. Here she is happy, there are endless activities, the staff is kind and she loves the food options. Ambler is by no means perfect, but the genuinely care for my mother. Ambler has extended her quality of life tremendously. Im grateful for all they do. "
