How much pain does a 90 year old women have to endure? My Mother has a degenerative spine condition with 3 broken or compressed vertebrae. She had been stabilized by using Fentanyl for the pain. She was taken off this medication without my knowledge or consent. Recently she was in excruciating pain and was only given Tylenol. I visited her and she was in excruciating pain for 7 days without anything stronger than Tylenol for her pain. If you care about your loved ones, do not send them to this facility.

Brittany Pointe Estates is close to my neighborhood so I visited the place. It's a very nice facility with good food. The people are very pleasant and professional. They met the needs of their clients. What I like the best is that they have continuing care. As you get older and need more care, you don't need to leave the place and go somewhere else.

Brittany Pointe is the newest of the communities I've visited. Their apartments were outstanding. They have an area that's very light and with windows on all three sides, that made the apartment very bright. I thought it was more limited in terms of the eating facilities but it was still very nice.

My Mother in law started with this facility 4 years ago. Independent living, and then assisted living. She has been in the alzheimer's care for 6 months now. She gets excellent care, all times of the day and night. There are activities that are planned, and everyone is encouraged to join in. The staff is very loving and kind to all. I show up unannounced all the time, and they are always pleased to see me.

Lovely facility on huge sprauling grounds, at first site this would seem like a hotel or retreat rather than a retirement community. In my visits, I was always impressed with the amount of activites offered to those able to partake. The other reason for my singing the praises of this facility, is the upbeat, professionalism seen in all the staff, from the administrator types right down to those in food service. They all seem to totally enjoy reaching out and making this community a home for the residents. They also are very open and become very involved with the families, which I think is so important. Residents I have gotten to speak with all talk so highly of their experiences. It is refreshing to hear such positive feedback from so many people. I would strongly recommend this community.
