"At the Sheridan Manor the staff is very friendly. They handle the elderly with care and love. They do many fun activities with them, such as arts and crafts and casino night. They have great flexible visiting hours. The patients are aloud to leave with their families without any problems. Overall I believe it is one of the best facilities in the area. I have heard many complaints from other places, but none from the Sheridan Manor. My grandfather really seems to enjoy it there. Every time i visit him he always has a great story about his stay. He has made friends with other residents and the great staff. I would definitely recommend The Sheridan Manor to anybody in the Buffalo area. "

"St. Francis Home of Williamsville was pretty good with OK cleanliness. Their food wasn’t the greatest, but it was OK. The staff was friendly and attentive. "

"My father stayed at Schofield for 9 days in December 2017. He was in hospice. The staff were excellent. They were competent, caring, and very accommodating. Their counsel (along with hospice care) was thoughtful, and always had Dad's needs in mind. They really cared. We researched and wrestled with which facility my Dad should go to. We were more than satisfied with Schofield and would recommend for anyone in hospice care."

"My mother has been living in the Care Unit at Harris Hill since September, 2010. The care in this facility is tremendous. It is a secured unit of approximately 52 people. There is plenty of nursing staff, aides, recreation staff and a social worker on daily. If my mother or I have concerns, it is always taken care of in a timely fashion. The staff is always pleasant and caring towards my mother and I . There are lots of social events for the residents and families. The actual facility is always clean and cheerful. I am very pleased with our choice for Mom's difficult care decision. "

"For various surgeries and complications I have rehabbed at McAuley Residence 4 times in the past year and a half. Each time I received fantastic care even though I admit they are very understaffed! Most of the care givers there go above and beyond to meet your needs. Martin D. and Janine were 2 who stood out each time I was there. Nurse Alma was so caring and so efficient. The PT and OT departments are phenomenal! Dave B in PT worked with me, through tears ???? and all to believe that the pain would begin to decrease with time and effort. I would recommend this facility to anyone contemplating knee or hip replacement rehab. Arlene W. "

"My husband moved into Terrace View. He was here before for rehab, and there are many people that my family knows. He's doing as best as he can daily. The staff does a lot of work, but they do it well. He's eating now, and he eats just about everything. The place is good. They have things downstairs at least three times a week. They have something down there, whether it's a church thing or a musical thing, or a talking thing, or all kinds of things that they have."

"Hawthorn Health Multicare Center is phenomenal! Everybody there are nice and polite. And I just talked to their physical therapist, they are always positive about everything! Pushing always their patients for the better. And they don’t let their patients dine in their own room. They encourage their residents to dine in the hall to socialize, get to know other and interact. And that is something my grand-dad needs. Very nice place and very nice people! "

"When we placed my mom at Elderwood in Wheatfield it was one of the best facilities for dementia. Sadly, it has declined terribly. It is extremely understaffed. My mom’s dementia unit with 20 patients frequently has only one aide and sometimes that aide also has the 20 additional dementia patients on the other side. Some of the aides hide in the utility room and aren’t on the floor for extended periods of time. I have spent thousands of dollars on clothes for mom as they keep “disappearing.” Currently she is missing 5 pairs of jog pants. I put in for reimbursement of 3 hoodies last March. I am still wsiting for reimbursement 7 months later. It is impossible to reach anyone at corporate office. I and my 4 daughters are checking on mom 5 days per week. So sad and frustrating."
