The rooms are too small and they don't provide daily housekeeping. The staff especially the aide are rude and make patients sit in their own fesses. The rehab therapist are lazy, throw you on a bike and forget about you. Too many patients. Nurses only came in to give medication nothing else, lazy staff. They were on cell phones constantly. Mean personal business. The male staff are Mean, man handled my mom, she had bruises. Complaints were ignored. Sent a legal complaint never heard back. Don't put anyone in this place.

My mother is in Beechwood Homes & Wesley Rehabilitation Center. It has different levels of care. It's the same facility where she is for rehab, so the transition was easy. As of today, she's still in the rehab center, but at the end of the week, she will be transferring to the skilled nursing. Some of the staff are more caring and patient than others. Some of the food items are decent and some are not. There's a courtyard. It's a clean facility. It's near restaurants and near hospitals.

Beechwood Continuing Care was very good. I thought that they took good care of my wife. The staffing ratio was very good. Every day they gave her lunch and the food was always hot and wholesome. They had physical therapists and occupational therapists come in and see her. So, she was well taken care of. I was very happy with the situation and the laundry was done once a week. So, it was very good. Their staff was very knowledgeable. In the unit that she was in, there were 10 people. There was a nurse and an aide (besides the physical therapist, the occupational speech therapist, and the nurse). They had people coming in and singing songs for them. They were kicking the balls to get their physical activity done and there was also a television. I was pretty happy with the whole thing. They were very interested in my wife. The place was clean and they had the option of single rooms or double rooms, which I thought was nice.
