"Heartland has a nursing home, and they just built a rehabilitation unit where people can go from the hospital to get rehab, but otherwise, they’re just a nursing home. They have a doctor that stops in or is available on call. They have on-staff nurses all of the time. "

"My mother was at Brookcrest for a little while when she had back surgery. They were good. Sanitation was OK. They kept everything clean. Food and dining area were fine. The room was good. "

"I was here in Tendercare for about 3 weeks to do rehab. It was for physical therapy. The people were very nice and very helpful. The nursing staff was really helpful in caring for the residents. The food was very good. There were a lot of small rooms if you were there temporarily. The staff and some of the other residents impressed me the most about this place. I would recommend this place to others. "

"I toured The Oaks at Byron Center. I liked that the staff was friendly, and there was a lot of staff members out and about helping the residents. I liked that it was clean and friendly. They offer so many services. If you have a slip-and-fall and break a hip, they will take you back because they have a medical facility there with staff, nurses, and doctors that can get you back in shape with therapy and things. The staff member who gave the tour was amazing. I visited a lot of facilities, and she was the only one that offered me a beverage. I know that's not a big deal, but when you go into someone's home, usually the first thing they do is offer you a beverage, and I thought, "Okay, so you're making a home experience here." They have every service, like if you need physical therapy, they have that. They have a doctor on staff, they have a beauty salon, and they have a room where you can work out. It's just a lovely atmosphere. It's very homey, welcoming, and warm. It's a lovely facility."

"I toured Douglas Cove Health and Rehabilitation. The only thing best about it is that it would have been closer to where I live. I was familiar with the place. It's been there a long time. So, it's old. They have made a few improvements, but it just didn't seem as friendly, and more like a nursing home than the other facility. The whole atmosphere is more gloomy. They weren't as up-to-date and cheery-looking. The person who gave the tour was very cordial. He was the assistant manager. I just get the feeling they were more short-staffed than the other facility."

"Our Family member was a resident of Health Bridge Wyoming for a few months. The Care Staff from the CNA's, Nurses, Social Servies the entire Health Bridge team worked with our Aunt and family and we were very impressed with their kindness, response to questions and overall great customer services. The direct care staff CNA's were exceptionally kind and all staff took great care of our Aunt. We could not have asked for better service or customer professionalism. Any issues or concern were immediately addressed. The kindness, care and patience given to our Aunt was exceptional. The health care system everywhere is experiencing staffing shortages - Health bridge managed this issue without sacrificing the care and respect towards my Aunt. We have been very impressed with the overall kindness of the staff and the great care she received. We cannot speak more highly of the care and kindness. Our Family would highly recommend Health Bridge. "

"I wish I could go less than a star, although this home took good care of my mom while she was there, the employee's at the time were so thoughtful and caring. They came to my mom's funeral and visitation when she past. My mom had Alzheimer's, I look back and can see the progression of this heart-breaking illness. There is no words that can say how this illness effects the loved ones around the person. I love my mom very much, we were best friends. Then I became her caregiver "mom", that is what she called me. The poor rating I am giving this facility because those that cared for my mom are no longer there, well there are only two left, and I watched them walk on eggshells there. The way they treated my dad while he resided there is beyond words. They thought in their sick twisted heads (the staff) believed they were protecting my dad from me, they did not protect them I honestly believe they caused him so much stress that he had numerous strokes. Until he had a massive stroke that ended his life a week later. He was depressed, a man I watched take on the world, all he wanted was to beable to see me. I would not send my dog to this place. It started out loving and caring and turned into a money greedy facility that doesn't know the truth from a pile of crap. I love both my parents and am going to go through the rest of my life with one regret, that I let my dad stay in this place....... "

"Covenant Village was very nice. We like everything about it. It was very neat, clean, pleasant, and very well-kept. They have a big park area where you can enjoy the outdoors in the summertime. The rooms were good. The people were very responsive. They gave us an opportunity to talk with some of the residents there. The tour guide knew the residents. She would say hello to them and then they would say a few words to us. That was a very nice part of the tour."

"We toured St. Ann's Home for my aunt. They were very informed and very helpful to us. When we sat and spoke with them, they took their time to just walk us through an area we had a question about, which was nice. If we can't get into the other facility, we'll probably go here. I had a lot of questions, and there were some questions I hadn't even thought of, and she was very helpful to walk through those steps with me, encouraging me and giving me the information I didn't even know to ask, so I thought that was good. It was very clean. They were in the process of renovating a room, so we knew that it was kept up. They didn't leave things to get old, and everything seemed very convenient. Where you go from your room to eat or whatever wasn't that far away, which was nice."

"My sister's a resident of Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. It's a very small nursing home and it's very old. It has three wings; it hasn't been kept up. The staff is very nice, especially the core staff, but they seem to have trouble keeping help. Everybody's always calling in sick, and you've got the kitchen person helping to clean rooms. My sister has a shared room. They have common areas, but it's very rundown. As far as I know, activities are pretty rare, they don't have a regular schedule of anything. I think they had bingo at one point. There's not any place for patients to go outside or anything, it's in a residential neighborhood. There's no big courtyard or anything."
