"My parents-in-law are in Norwood Crossing in an area called Norwood Park in Chicago. My mother-in-law just moved in yesterday and my father-in-law has been there for two months in rehabilitation. They have both been appreciating and enjoying the activities there for about a month. They are very friendly there and they're getting good care. The staff are very involved in the well being of the residents. It's a wonderful place and I would recommend this facility to others. "

"I toured Alden of Waterford. It was nice. I got there and the lady who helped me was helpful. They have a clubhouse and they have a pool table. They had a little cafeteria area and fireplace, and it was all redone. They had a little golf area outside and a grill. It was nice. I visited the home and it was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom like a townhome there. It was very nice but too much for a friend so she didn't go for it."

"The place was filthy! Residents just sitting around doing nothing. Was in the elevator with a resident that looked and smelled like he just came in off the street.Called to speak to the Director several times, she was never there or always busy. Do not send your loved ones there! "

"My brother stayed in The Pearl of Orchard Valley for rehab. They were very short of help for the most part, so that was part of the problem. Some of the staff was good, some of the staff was not. He seemed to like the food. The facility wasn't clean all the time. The size of the room was good."

"St. Patrcik's was a 5 star facility for my Mom. They gave my Mom excellent care. I would recommend this facility for any family looking for a loving compassionate skilled facility. My Mother passed at St. Patrick's and they provided us a church for her service and viewing. It is a faith based facily run by Nuns in the Carmilite Order. They were wonderful. "

"I toured Meadowbrook Manor-Naperville. I noticed that the people are very friendly and accommodating. The building is pretty clean, and a good place for senior living. They had activities planned out, and the building itself is nice. The room felt homey. Some of the rooms, like the waiting room, felt like a small living room. It did feel like it could be a good, comfortable place to live."

"My mom will move to The Pearl at The Tillers, a skilled nursing facility in Oswego. I have visited the place. They have rehab and they also only allow 24 long-term patients. The nursing staff is full during the day and there are two nurses at night so that's one per 12 patients. Compared to other skilled nursing facilities, this was the best fit for my mom because she's going to get more help compared to being in one where there's one nurse for every 30 people. The staff is very welcoming and it's a very nice facility. When you first walk in, there are tables, chairs, and couches with electric fireplaces. They even have a Starbucks there. They have a nice daily menu. Any day my mom can get a cheeseburger, a hot dog, or a slice of pizza. There's a list of 5 or 6 things my mom can get every day if she doesn't want what's on the menu they cook daily. They have different things every day."

"I moved into The Pearl of Naperville. They have all the good amenities and physical therapy. Everyone has been nice. They serve three meals a day. It's quality food. They have bingo and something to keep you busy all the time. I enjoy it myself."

"In January of this year my aunt mary needed to move from another nursing home to naperville. I had heard so many good things about community that I gave them a call. I talked to Mary on the phone who was so kind to help with paper work since I was also taking care of my mom with stage 4 bone cancer. Mary said since you are in the hospital with your mom I will greet your aunt when she gets here and call you. I got a phone call later and she said your aunt is here and I have already talked to her. while my aunt stayed at community all the doctors,nurses or helpers were so nice. When my aunt needed to go to the hospital I also recieved a phone call and they always keep me in "the loop". I can't say enough good things about community and how they really do treat you like family and how much they care. My aunt passed away last week after a battle with leukemia. The nurses were so sweet and we keep my aunt comfortable until she passed. Thank you community for all you did. Carol Pradel "
