"I would recommend La Crescenta Health Care because it's better than the other places my mother has been in. It's very clean, it's airy, and you can see the mountains. Physical therapy is very good as well as nursing. The staff there are cordial, they're professional, and they're caring. The one weakness is that my mother doesn't like the food, but it's better than where she's at before, and she's very picky as well. Every room has a sliding glass door open to the courtyard, and it's nice because, in the summer, they could just open the window and have access to the courtyard. And have activities too, and they have entertainment in a room where they can go and spend time. Today, they're going to have a birthday party. They have a courtyard with tables and umbrellas, patio tables, and easy access. If your family comes, you could go to the courtyard, sit out there and have a picnic. They also do karaoke, arts and crafts, and they have movies."

"The location of Oakpark Healthcare Center seemed very nice. They seemed very caring, knowledgeable, and kind. I liked that they have a professional doctor and nurse on staff round the clock. The rooms were a good size. They're large. They have their own closet and own drawers. There's a patio door that exits outside to a nice grassy area and covered patio that we can go and visit. They're very clean and very COVID conscious. Plus, there's plenty of staff per resident. The staff at the front door, the administrator, and the director were all friendly and professional. I liked them. They were very polite to me and to my aunt."

"Autumn Hills is good, but my relative has to move to an assisted living facility. The food is very good. Everything is very good. Sometimes, they have people come in to sing. They also have film shows, and they play bingo. "

"My father-in-law is in Royal Oaks. The facility is fine. Cleanliness is fine. They are upgrading. He is in a shared room and they have a shared bathroom, but it is spacious enough. The staff treats him fine. Their attitude is great. The dining room is nice. The food is very well prepared, and it is nice and hot when it is served. There's no problem as far as I can tell. I know they have good exercise and ways for them to get around, but he is committed to a wheelchair so he cannot really get around easily. The facility is very well taken care of, and they have plenty of room for people to move around and things for the elderly to do. The staff is friendly to the residents. They are knowledgeable, and I will recommend them. "

"Mother was placed at Dreiers for a period of 3 weeks after suffering a stroke. The rehab department worked wonders on her. The staff were all so nice. The best was the food! "

"My father was at Broadway Manor. My father had a private room because he is a veteran. It's awesome. The staff was helpful, polite, and treated him like he was their grandpa. There's not a lot of activities going on. He was just there for a month for rehab. "

"My brother is now in St. Vincent Healthcare. This place is mainly for Alzheimer's patients. For me, it is a very well organized place. There's always someone who'll talk to you. The staff does a lot of things for their patients even though every need is different for each patient. My brother's medications and dietary intake are being monitored. They have different doctors that come in for different needs, e.g., podiatry, psychiatry, etc. One time, they were doing their afternoon exercises with music, walking around and dancing around the hallway. It was kind of nice. They have an outdoor courtyard where patients can be out in the sun if they insist. Each room has a television. Overall, I'm pleased with this place. "

"Golden Rose Care Center was newly renovated, everything was new, and I was very impressed with it. That's the place I have chosen for my husband and that's where he will go. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for Sandy to give me the tour and I saw a lot of positive actions by the employees coming and helping. I saw what was going during the time I was waiting, and I was happy with what I saw."

"My mom was put in Brighton two years ago. She was in the nursing care, and she was there for rehab, which is another one that is awful. The place was really old. They also had a lot of what she called medical people that live there permanently that are either handicapped mentally or physically. It was a whole different wing from the nursing facility; that area had three to a room, and they live there permanently. They would hang outside in the parking lot, smoking cigarettes, weed, and drinking. I couldn't believe my eyes. A lot of them are younger because they're medical people whose families don't want them. I did see a lot of people there. It was all pre-Covid. I just give them a low rating with everything. The rooms were old, and it was an old building. I didn't see a garden for the people. The rehab was probably the best part. I would say the staff was pretty good. They were kind and very nice to my mom. They have a very nice staff. All I saw was the dining room; that's all I could see. I didn't see much going on in there. I saw a lot of people sitting in there. It was people that either were permanent residents or the people that were in nursing care. The beds look like they were taken from an old hospital that was closed down, and they bought old used beds. They told my daughter not to sit on the beds because there's a lot of infectious diseases. I'm like, "Well, don't they clean in between patients?" I thought that was really weird."

The room was a double occupancy room, though my mom did not have anyone in the room for at least two or three days, and then someone moved in with her. I would recommend it to others. "
