"Leisure Vale was OK. It had a lot of spots to go outside to just enjoy being outside, but the rooms were kind of small. They had a big living room area with a big screen TV. The dining area seemed pretty nice, and they had a nice pool table, but my friend is not into playing pool. They also had a reading area and a magnifying machine where you could put the newspaper and read it. The people were nice, and there wasn't anybody who was rude. "

"Belmont Village is lovely and the Ferrari of assisted living. Everything about is excellent. It was large and daunting. The dining area is incomparable, like going to a restaurant, and the food is delicious. The services and amenities are top of the line, and they have a 24/7 nurse staff; however, you have to pay for it, and it was too much of a stretch. "

"It is a very nice facility and the only reason why we didn't go with this one because it was far. Their halls were nice and wide so it didn't feel cramped in the hallways. It's very well lit. Carpets were out. It looks like a very upscale hotel. The staff was very friendly. The walls in the hallways had this bar that people can hold on and the bar looked like an art decor. It was really nice. The rooms were large. They had a device were they would put something on the senior citizens so that if they fall and they stay on the floor too long, it will start beeping the front desk and that was a very nice feature. If you're sick the meals will be brought to your rooms. They have a movie room where you go in and all the chairs were like a movie theater style, very nice. I really like that aspect. "

"My visit was very nice. The rooms were very nice, and the staff was very friendly and very helpful in answering our questions. The atmosphere was generally nice and very uplifting. The place was kept nice and clean. The dining facilities were very nice. "

"Evergreen Retirement Home was recommended by somebody. We looked at a bunch of different ones, and it really came down to the care and the affordability. I know they have independent and assisted. They have movies, they have games, they have social interaction. They have trips, they take them to shopping. "

"My mom is here. She has only been there a few weeks. The people that work there seem very helpful and very nice. My mom seems to like it. They do Bible studies and exercising. She has gone to bingo. She has a pretty good size room. "

She has a private room; she loves it. The service is great, the food is great, and the people are great. Everything is great. It's a lovely facility and absolutely beautiful. I don't have any complaints."

"Belmont Village Hollywood Heights was lovely. The young lady who helped me was very kind and sweet. It was perfect. It couldn't have been anything better. She did a great job. They showed me all the facilities, the dining room, the patios, and the different floors."

"My mother is in Sakura Gardens of Los Angeles. She speaks only Japanese and the nice thing is they have Japanese-speaking caregivers and Japanese cuisine. They can select either continental or Japanese cuisine. All staff and residents are vaccinated and strict protocols are in place. They have a lot of activities and volunteers from the Japanese community come out and do things in Japanese for them, such as daily exercise, karaoke, movies and small bands. They have beautiful gardens, a huge koi pond, waterfalls, rock sculptures, and bonsai trees within the grounds. All the staff are incredible and they do everything to help the residents. They've just remodeled everything, and it's a very reasonably priced. AWESOME"

"We visited the Bethany Towers assisted living facility while searching for a suitable assisted living facility for our great aunt. Many of our family members live in the area, so this would be an ideal place for her to live. The outer grounds looked well-kept and pleasant. The staff greeted us and seemed very warm and friendly - which is the most important thing to our family. We want our aunt to be treated well in his new home. The foyer was nicely decorated and seemed homey, as did all of the communal rooms. The private spaces were all clean, well-kept and conveniently designed. They take the time to personalize to each resident's tastes. The dining areas were nicely designed and warm. Residents may choose communal dining or more private situations. There are places for them to visit with families, as well. The food looked deliciously prepared, as well as nutritious. The dietician and chef changes up the menu to keep it interesting and encourage resident to make suggestions. The activity calendar features many healthy and stimulating activities. They have outings to local libraries, events, culture, restaurants, shopping and athletic events. They take suggestions to update the schedule as much as possible. We really liked that the staff encourages participation and tries to make everything interesting for its residents. Staff appeared to make every effort to ensure that the residents were both safe and comfortable in this living environment. "

"Cityview Villa was an incredible place and did not have a feel of a senior citizen facility. It seemed like a home that was a welcoming embrace, and my grandmother's smile was a genuine one. Her face lit up at the attention she was receiving from attendants and other seniors that began to have conversations with her. The staff was courteous and welcoming, they did not speak to my grandmother as if she was a little girl, but a person who was still an adult and just needed aid. While I was still cautious, my grandmother jumped at the chance to belong at this facility, after seeing her lose so much of herself, it was incredible to see her interact with others.
