"My mother moved into Sparr Heights Estates Senior Living. We chose it because of its good location, the very nice staff, and the very clean private rooms that go out onto an outside courtyard. The staff is great. Sometimes my mom likes the food, sometimes she doesn't. The room is very clean and in good shape. They just replaced all the floors right before we got there. They always repaint the rooms before you move in. The little problems were minor, little things they had to fix, which they did, that we noticed in the room. They have a maintenance crew that comes and fixes any problems. They do try to keep them busy during the day. They always bring them all out of their rooms. They try to do exercises and games. They have discussions of current events or watch a little documentary about something. They try to keep them active - their minds and their bodies."

"It is a very nice facility and the only reason why we didn't go with this one because it was far. Their halls were nice and wide so it didn't feel cramped in the hallways. It's very well lit. Carpets were out. It looks like a very upscale hotel. The staff was very friendly. The walls in the hallways had this bar that people can hold on and the bar looked like an art decor. It was really nice. The rooms were large. They had a device were they would put something on the senior citizens so that if they fall and they stay on the floor too long, it will start beeping the front desk and that was a very nice feature. If you're sick the meals will be brought to your rooms. They have a movie room where you go in and all the chairs were like a movie theater style, very nice. I really like that aspect. "

"Hollywood Hills is wonderful. My mother actually loves it. I can't say enough about it. I'm absolutely extremely pleased. My mother has been a resident since the 1st of July, so it has been 90 days. It's very well run. They're very conscientious and very empathetic. It's a great, great community. Everything is lovely. It's a brand new facility. It's absolutely beautiful. She has a private room; she loves it. The service is great, the food is great, and the people are great. Everything is great. It's a lovely facility and absolutely beautiful. I don't have any complaints."

"My mom's been an assisted-living resident at Evergreen for a couple of years now. She(we) appreciates the kind staff. Plus, she has formed friendships with some of the residents. Her room is nice. She has a closet and an ADA bathroom. There's space for her single-bed, rocker/recliner, nightstand, small refrigerator, large dresser with TV on top. She has pass-through access to a shared patio. There's pull chords by her bed and in her bathroom if she needs assistance with her limited mobility. She gets regular help with showering, dressing, bathroom and medication management. Housekeeping is there frequently, and her room and laundry are kept very clean. She can be critical of some of the meals, but there's always options to order if she doesn't like the entree. Plus, without crossing any streets she and the residence can walk to Bob's Big Boy. We like the location and the cul-de-sac street which feels very safe. She participates in Bingo, chair yoga, music events (there's a grand piano in the large living room) and patio BBQs. On the downside, we wish there was more than one elevator because it can get backed up there during busy times. A couple of times there's been outages but never too long. Also, the building is older, and we've had to report poor plumbing, but they address it. Lastly, and I assume this is everywhere, but more staff would be better. She does complain about waiting too long when she needs help. Overall, a moderately priced (well, they're all expensive but Evergreen is competitive) assisted and independent living and we're glad we chose it."

"My grandmother was very happy here. She was suffering from a mild case of dimensia and she could no longer live on her own. She went to live here, nearby the family. She still feels like she has some independence but someone is always there when she needs helps. They have great food, 3 meals per day + snacks, housekeeping, activities, nice amenities and close to nearby attractions. They have transportation to bring her to these places as well. They help her with her personal care when she needs help and she is looking well. Happy with this place. "

The staff is professional, kind, and truly dedicated to caring for the residents. Their service is excellent, and it's clear they go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels at home. The meals are also well-prepared and nutritious. Overall, it's a wonderful place that offers comfort, care, and peace of mind for families."

"We visited the Bethany Towers assisted living facility while searching for a suitable assisted living facility for our great aunt. Many of our family members live in the area, so this would be an ideal place for her to live. The outer grounds looked well-kept and pleasant. The staff greeted us and seemed very warm and friendly - which is the most important thing to our family. We want our aunt to be treated well in his new home. The foyer was nicely decorated and seemed homey, as did all of the communal rooms. The private spaces were all clean, well-kept and conveniently designed. They take the time to personalize to each resident's tastes. The dining areas were nicely designed and warm. Residents may choose communal dining or more private situations. There are places for them to visit with families, as well. The food looked deliciously prepared, as well as nutritious. The dietician and chef changes up the menu to keep it interesting and encourage resident to make suggestions. The activity calendar features many healthy and stimulating activities. They have outings to local libraries, events, culture, restaurants, shopping and athletic events. They take suggestions to update the schedule as much as possible. We really liked that the staff encourages participation and tries to make everything interesting for its residents. Staff appeared to make every effort to ensure that the residents were both safe and comfortable in this living environment. "

"CityView's rooms are very clean and user-friendly for the residents. They’re a good size and big enough to be comfortable. The food was very good, healthy, and had some good choices. They had a nice variety of activities for different types of interests and people."

"This facility is modern, clean, and comfortable. My grandfather currently stays here and I gladly visit him due to the wonderful environment created by the staff. It is a great place for the elderly. They offer great personal and private care. This is a great place someone can assure their loveds ones to be safe in. Although I felt as if it was focused too much on Arminian culture, and some of the staff spoke little to no english, it is by far a wonderful place for a loved one to live. Highly recommended! This is a place you wont regret visiting. Just by the appearance, one can see that this place, combined with the wonderful staff, is a safe home. "

"It was pretty nice and accommodating. One thing we didn't like about it was to go into the office where we met with the director was upstairs, and my friend doesn't go upstairs very well since he's using a walker. They did have a ramp, but it was kind of a long way around the stairs instead of being right next to it, so we had to go down a little bit of a hallway, into the dining room, and then double back up a different hallway in order to go where the office was. They had very nice amenities such as an arts and crafts room, a reading room that was kind of a library, a machine where you stick your paper and read which was good for my friend because his eyesight is very poor, and a separate room where they did activities. Everybody was friendly, and the staff said hi. The rooms were OK and were mostly a one room. "

"My wife wasn't happy with the Hollenbeck Palms' neighborhood. As far as the facility, it was OK. The person during the tour was mostly OK, but a little abrupt with my wife about whether or not she'd be in the skilled nursing or assisted living section. There were two dining areas, one was more formal, and one was less formal. The apartments were OK, and they have an exercise room. The staff was helpful."
